Sonny Franco
Sonny Franco

Sonny Franco raised to 10,500 from the hijack and action folded to Nenad Svetomirovic in the small blind who three-bet to 22,000. The big blind quickly folded and Franco decided to four-bet to 60,000. Svetomirovic took some time and then five-bet shoved for around 200,000 which Franco snap-called.

Nenad Svetomirovic: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Sonny Franco: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts} for Franco to hold with the pocket rockets to eliminate Svetomirovic and jump into the chip lead.

Franco Takes from Faria

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Miguel Faria raised from the late position and Sonny Franco three-bet to 20,000 on the button. Action folded back to Faria who made the call.

They both checked through the {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop to the {9-Hearts} on the turn. Faria check-called the 19,000 bet of Franco to see the {3-Clubs} complete the board on the river. They both checked again. Faria tabled {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the turned pair of nines but was beaten by the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} of Franco who had flopped the higher pair.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Louis Salter
Louis Salter

Fadhil Farag raised to 8,000 from the middle position and was called by Yves Sanchez in the hijack. Louis Salter three-bet to 31,000 on the button for the blinds to fold. Farag considered his options for a while and then made the call while Sanchez folded.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Farag check-called the 26,000 continuation-bet of Salter.

The turn brought them the {2-Hearts}, Farag checked again and now Salter shoved with the bigger stack.

Farag looked at Salter and then at his own stack. He played a bit with his chips and then asked: "If I fold, will you show?"

Salter didn't respond, Farag took some more time and then decided to fold {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Salter knocked on the table but didn't say anything else while collecting the pot.

Jose Ruiz Dominguez: {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Artur Rudziankov: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Andries Swart: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

After paying Dominguez, Rudziankov had 63,000 left which he doubled up with the higher pocket pair.
