Guenni Next to Fall

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mikael Guenni moved all in for around 600,000 and Andre Silva Dias called from one seat over.

Guenni tabled the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and had a flip against {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Silva Dias picked up a straight draw on the {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, turned a pair with the {q-Hearts} and the {6-Spades} river failed to keep Guenni in contention.

Barry McGovern raised to 185,000 on the button and Jose Prieto Pulido three-bet to 600,000 in the small blind. McGovern moved all in and that forced a fold.

One hand later, McGovern opened to 185,000 from the cutoff and Virgil Grecu jammed the big blind for 1,025,000. McGovern asked for a count and made the call.

Virgil Grecu: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Barry McGovern: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The board came {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the mighty ducks held strong to send Grecu to the rail in 45th place.
