Molenaar Gets Caught

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was on the table already and Karim Alleg checked from the small blind to Michel Molenaar in the cutoff. Molenaar bet 15,000 and Alleg called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and both players checked to see the {6-Spades} on the river. Alleg checked to Molenaar again and the Dutchman fired a bet of 48,000. Alleg took a couple of seconds but flicked in a call moments later. Molenaar immediately folded his hand and Alleg won the pot without having to show his hand.

Ah-Line Looking For Another Deep Run

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Alberto Ah-Line
Alberto Ah-Line

Alberto Ah-Line knows how it feels to run deep in National tournaments. Just a year ago, the man from Réunion finished in third place in the National, won by his friend Jean-René Fontaine. Now, Ah-Line was facing a big sweat if he was to make a similar run, as he had his final chips in with {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} against the {k-}{q-} of Diego Vilela.

The board came down {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to improve the Frenchman to a flush and in relief, Ah-Line got up and darted around a bit before sitting down again.

Danny Bao was all in for his last 85,000 from the cutoff and he was called by big blind Rodrigo Peceli Presutti. Presutti only covered him by a bit and would be left with less than six big blinds if he would lose the hand.

Danny Bao: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Rodrigo Peceli Presutti: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Bao doubled up while Presutti needs to find a double up now.
