''Mamma Mia!''

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Amato Landi
Amato Landi

Anton Bergstrom and Amato Landi got their chips in the middle. Bergstrom had Landi covered by just a very small margin and the pot was very significant for both players so close to the bubble.

Amato Landi: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Anton Bergstrom: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Landi was extremely excited about the river as he jumped from his chair and shouted ''mamma mia'' multiple times through the tournament room.

Saout Denies Another One

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Alexander Rocha was all in for around 60,000 and Antoine Saout tried to add another scalp to his arsenal.

Alexander Rocha: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Antoine Saout: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board came down {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to leave Rocha dry on chips and move the field one closer to the money.

Late Night Eliminations

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The following batch of players all just missed out on a money-cash in the EPT National High Roller.

Bernardini Left With Crumbs After Doubling Berndtson

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Touko Berndtson put his last 41,000 in the middle from the hijack when it folded to him. Gianluca Bernardini sat on the button and he rejammed, covering Berndtson. The rest of the players got out of the way and they opened up.

Touko Berndtson: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Gianluca Bernardini: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop was safe for Bernardini, but the {a-Diamonds} turn already brought extra outs for Berndtson. The {10-Diamonds} on the river was one of those cards and he doubled up while leaving Bernardini with just three big blinds. Shortly after, he lost those as well.

Saout Snipes Lipauka

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Vadzim Lipauka was all in for his final 55,000 in chips and Antoine Saout tried to score the knockout.

Vadzim Lipauka: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Antoine Saout: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Big slick didn't do the trick for the Belarusian as the {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board came up short for him, ending his run about twenty places before the money.

No Money for Bouchama; Deveson Holds With Queens

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A short-stacked Tarek Bouchama open-shoved from the button and Frederik Brink looked him up from the big blind.

Tarek Bouchama: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Frederik Brink: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The EPT8 Madrid champion held up on a {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board to deny Bouchama a cash in this event.

At another table, Max Deveson cold four-bet shoved for 77,000 from the blinds. Ioannis Zachmanidis, who had 35,000 in front of him in middle position, was visibly unpleased with the situation but called the extra chips off after a minute or so.

Max Deveson: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Ioannis Zachmanidis: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

No real sweat for Deveson on a {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board and he doubled up.

Olsen Goes Down by Quads

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Rodrigo De Barros Semeghini raised from the cutoff to 11,000 and button Gisle Olsen three-bet to 27,000. The blinds got out of the way and De Barros Semeghini called.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the Brazilian checked to see Olsen jam 73,000 in the middle. De Barros Semeghini snap-called and immediately tabled {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Olsen showed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The {8-Hearts} turn gave Olsen a couple of extra outs but the {7-Diamonds} river was not one of them.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
