Back-to-Back Doubles for Aido

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Sergio Aido was down to under five big blinds and he shoved all in for 280,000 from under the gun. Mikita Badziakouski re-shoved all in on his left and the rest of the table folded.

Aido tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} but was in trouble against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Badziakouski. However, the flop of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} gave Aido the lead and he would hold on through the {2-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} runout.

In the very next hand, Daniel Dvoress got all of his chips in the middle against Aido, who now had 650,000 to work with. Aido held {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and was flipping against the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} of Dvoress.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Aido took the lead once again with a pair of aces. The {k-Spades} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Aido brought himself right back into contention.
