Chamarre Got Lucky Against Torossian

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Patrice Chamarre got his last 20 big blinds in the middle against Nicolas Torossian and he had to come from behind. He was playing {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Torossian had {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The {2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board ran out in Chamarre's favor and he scooped the pot for a full double up.

Same Pace as Yesterday

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The tournament is going at the same pace as yesterday. That would mean that the tournament will end at about 3 a.m. local time and Day 2 will start at 1 p.m.

Only 95 players are still in the tournament and they're closing in on the money. All players are now seated in the same tournament room as they have ten tables left.

Aylar Lie

Aylar Lie got eliminated from the tournament yet again. She wasn't able to get anything going in the EPT Cup, just like yesterday.

This time she lost with {k-Spades}{j-Spades} against {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} on the {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board. Lie didn't cash in both flights of the EPT Cup while the other players are getting closer to the money.

Barret Sends Darino Home

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Anthony Barret saw the {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop and he must have been excited to see another player bet 8,000 while he was holding {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. He moved all in for 25,400 when it was on him and he saw Manuela Darino move all in for less as well. Valeriy Chupin got out of the way, just as the other players in the hand.

Barret was well ahead against the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Darino and he faded a handful of outs on the {3-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river.

Parkhomchuck More Than Doubles

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jean Bros, Yurii Parkhomchuck, and a third player where involved in a three-way all-in where Parkhomchuck and the other player were at risk. The third player in the pot had the shortest stack and he was playing {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Parkhomchuck was all in for 29,000 and was playing {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. He was flipping against Bros his {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} who had both players well covered.

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the pot was pushed to Parkhomchuck who more than doubled by winning the coin flip against Parkhomchuck and eliminating the other player in the hand.
