Costly Mistake by Sufragiu as Carbotti Triples Up

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Giuseppe Carbotti had moved all in and just put one chip forward and Sorin Sufragiu called, but only after that he realized and was explained by other players at the table and the dealer that Carbotti had indeed moved all in for 23,900. Alexander Timokhin on the button jammed over the top and Sufragiu reluctantly checked his cards several times, seemingly confused, before eventually folding {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} face up.

Giuseppe Carbotti: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Alexander Timokhin: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {9-Spades} turn improved Carbotti to a straight and the {7-Hearts} river was a blank to secure the triple up for the Italian.

Cure Eliminated by Azizov

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

It was a classic flip that decided over the fate of Clement Cure, who had jammed pre for around 33,000 with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Timur Azizov looked him up with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and the board came {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Cure tapped the table before heading out of the tournament area.

Cuomo's Flush is Not Enough

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, Sadri Saleh bet and called the shove of Daniele Cuomo for 20,500 with the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Cuomo had flopped the flush with {5-Spades}{3-Spades}, but couldn't hold up on a {a-Diamonds} turn and {2-Spades} river run out.
