Gadzhiev Doubles Through Volkov

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Oleg Volkov made it 1,300 to go and Roman Gadzhiev jammed for the last 17,000 to pick up a call after around 15 seconds of consideration.

Roman Gadzhiev: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Oleg Volkov: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop provided no help to Vplkov while he picked up some outs with the {k-Diamonds} turn. A blank {9-Hearts} followed on the river and Gadzhiev doubled.

Irshat Shaykhov had a decent start into Day 1a but his chips since vanished. Down to around 11,000 he open-shoved and the action folded all the way to 2016 EPT Dublin champion Dzmitry Urbanovich in the big blind. Urbanovich glanced at his cards and called immediately.

Irshat Shaykhov: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Dzmitry Urbanovich: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board came {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Spades} and Urbanovich rivered a full house for good measure.
