Another four players were sent to the rail in quick succession to reduce the field to the last 134 hopefuls.

Pavel Lubov saw his hopes of a cash vanish when he got it in preflop for 95,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, as Yam Hod Gilad held up with {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} on a board of {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}. The stack sizes were very similar as Gilad had Lubov covered by just 3,000.

Minosyants still had outs with the diamond draw, but the {a-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river bricked.

At the same time two tables over, Viktoriya Taranova lost the fight with her short stack and that reduced the field to the last 130 players.

The Bubble Has Been Reached

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

There are 128 players remaining as Tobias Peters and Anilkumar Singh have been eliminated.

Peters jammed the button for around 80,000 and was called by Emin Mugulov.

Tobias Peters: {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Emin Mugulov: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The board came {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Peters failed to catch an ace of straight after falling behind on the flop.

Singh three-bet shoved with ace-king into the aces of Karen Arutyunyan in a battle of the blinds.

All current hands will now be completed and the final players from the Ballroom moved. Roman Timergazin has one T-5,000 chip left and a few hands before he will be forced all in. Quite remarkably, Timergazin is the 666th entry of the tournament.

Istomin Nearly Doubles on the Bubble

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Aleksey Istomin
Aleksey Istomin

Almost all tables were finished with their action except for one and Aleksey Istomin was involved in a bigger pot against Roman Novoselov.

Istomin in the big blind and Novoselov from under the gun created a pot of 140,000 to the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}. Istomin checked and Novoselov bet 110,000, which was almost exactly what Istomin had left.

He eventually made the call and would have had fewer than two big blinds left if he were to lose.

Novoselov tabled {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a bluff and Istomin scored a vital pot with the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.
