More for Skhulukhiya; Kozenkova and Kitov Chop

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya won a three-bet pot against Boris Kitov when he bet the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} turn for 460,000 once the action was checked to him.

Kitov then raised to 150,000 first to act and claimed the blinds and big blind ante.

One hand later, Natalia Panchenko opened to 130,000 and Kitov called. Lidiya Kozenkova raised to 350,000 in the big blind, which was called by Panchenko and Kitov.

The flop came {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Kozenkova bt 475,000, which forced a quick fold from Panchenko. Kitov jammed for around 1.2 million and Kozenkova called after half a minute.

Boris Kitov: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Lidiya Kozenkova: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The chop was already ensured as the meaningless {9-Spades} turn and {9-Clubs} river completed the board.

Skhulukhiya On Eight Million

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Giorgiy Skhulukhiya raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han three-bet to 315,000, Skhulukhiya came along and they headed to the {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Skhulukhiya checked and called a small bet of 125,000 before both then opted to check down the {10-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Skhulukhiya tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Han mucked his {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} with plenty of frustration.

Boris Kitov
Boris Kitov

The action started with a raise to 180,000 from under the gun by Yi Ye and Boris Kitov elected to call in the big blind. On a {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Kitov checked and Ye made it 140,000 to go. Kitov check-raised to 325,000 and that sent Ye into the think tank. He riffled his chips for more than a minute and splashed in a reraise to 640,000 eventually.

Now it was Kitov that needed time for the next move and he had some 1,070,000 behind after his raise. Ye called the clock on him after two minutes and before a countdown was given, Kitov moved all in, the snap-call of Ye followed.

Boris Kitov: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Yi Ye: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} river let the kicker play in favor of Ye and Kitov was eliminated in 8th place for RUB1,183,700. All remaining seven players then agreed on a short break with 66 minutes left in the level.

Ye Forces Out Petrov; Skhulukhiya Collects Chips

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vladislav Petrov raised from the cutoff and was called by Yi Ye in the big blind. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Ye led for 155,000 and Petrov called. A second bet on the {4-Diamonds} turn for 240,000 by Ye did the trick to force a fold from Petrov.

One hand later, Egor Sukhov raised to 175,000 first to act and Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han called from the next seat. Ye filled up from the small blind and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya in the big blind was about to call, too, then changed his mind. He splashed in a three-bet to 555,000 and forced two quick folds.

Ye needed more time but came to the same conclusion.
