"Too Much Respect for You, Bro"

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Gianluca Speranza saw action folded to him on the button and raised to 50,000. George Wolff called in the small blind and the two went to a flop of {10-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Both players checked.

The turn was {a-Clubs} and both players checked again. The river fell {4-Clubs} and Wolff fired out 110,000.

"Too much respect for you bro," said Speranza. "I just call," he added as he put down chips to call.

Wolff tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for Broadway and Speranza flashed {k-Diamonds}, turning it over on top of his other face-down card. He then flipped the cards so that his other card {j-Clubs} was shown as well.

"Much respect," added Speranza as the pot was sent Wolff's way. "I know you play too good."

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger opened to 50,000 and Simon Pedersen called in the small blind.

Pedersen check-called 50,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop and the turn was the {5-Clubs}. Both players checked and the river was the {6-Clubs}. Pedersen checked again and Eibinger bet 165,000.

Pedersen called but mucked when Eibinger showed {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a rivered flush.

Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress raised to 200,000 in the cutoff, leaving himself with just 55,000 behind. Simon Lofberg called from the small blind and the two players saw a flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Lofberg led out for the remaining 55,000 and Dvoress quickly called.

Daniel Dvoress: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Simon Lofberg: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Dvoress paired his queen to take the lead and the {8-Clubs} on the turn along with the {2-Spades} on the river secured him another double up.

Dvoress Chips Up a Little More

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Masato Yokosawa opened to 60,000 in the cutoff and was called by Daniel Dvoress, defending his big blind. The two saw the flop come {5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Dvoress checked over to Yokosawa, who made a continuation-bet of 30,000. Dvoress called.

Action went check-check on the turn {2-Spades} and the river fell {a-Spades}. Dvoress threw out 100,000 and Yokosawa sent his cards to the muck after a little bit of deliberation, resulting in the pot being shipped to Dvoress, who now finds himself north of a half-million despite still being in the bottom half of the chip counts with 12 players remaining.

Short-Stacked Double

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The action folded to Rainer Kempe on the button who raised to 410,000. Masato Yokosawa announced all in from the big blind and Kempe eyed up the other table before flicking in his last 20,000 chips.

Rainer Kempe: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Masato Yokosawa: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

It turned out to be a coin flip and Kempe held the lead through the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Kempe doubled once again.

George Wolff: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out clean for Speranza, coming {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to score him the double at Wolff's expense, bringing him just shy of 1 million while Wolff now finds himself with 570,000.

Khatri Loses Some to Eibinger

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The position of Matthias Eibinger to the direct left of Bhavin Khatri has proved problematic for the Brit and here he opened to 75,000 from under the gun. Undeterred, Eibinger called and the flop was {6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Khatri bet 55,000 and Eibinger called. The turn {9-Diamonds} and river {8-Spades} were both checked down.

Khatri turned over {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} but didn't look confident, and Eibinger showed {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and took down the pot with a pair of queens.
