Action folded around to Jukka Paloniemi in the small blind and he put out a stack of T5,000 chips. Jasper Meijer van Putten was in the big blind and called off his remaining 6,500.

Jasper Meijer van Putten: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Jukka Paloniemi: {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Turmezey Doesn't Buy the Check-Raise

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Peter Turmezey opened to 2,600 in the cutoff and received calls from both Clement Richez on the button as well as the player in the small blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and the small blind checked. Turmezey made a continuation-bet of 3,500 and Richez immediately folded. The small blind check-raised to 10,000 and Turmezey didn't take long to call.

The turn was {k-Hearts} and the small blind checked. Turmezey took back the initiative and announced a bet of 9,500. It was all he would need to get a fold and take down the pot.

Yurasov Turns Speranza to the Door

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 2,600 in middle position and Dmitry Yurasov flat-called on his left. Gianluca Speranza shoved all in for 27,100 in the blinds which got Sammartino to fold but Yurasov quickly called.

Dmitry Yurasov: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Gianluca Speranza: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Yurasov was in a dominating position but the flop of {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} gave Speranza the lead. However, the {a-Diamonds} on the turn put Yurasov back out front and the {3-Spades} on the river eliminated Speranza.

Kempe Finds a Chop on the River

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Rainer Kempe raised it up to 2,600 on the button and the big blind called. The flop came {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the big blind checked to Kempe who continued for 2,700. The big blind check-raised to 8,200 and Kempe clicked it back for 13,700. His opponent just called and the {j-Spades} landed on the turn.

The big blind tabled {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for two pair and a flush draw while Kempe held {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a different flush draw. The {j-Diamonds} double-paired the board on the river and the two players chopped the pot with each holding an ace in their hand.

Stephen Chidwick raised it up from the hijack and Paul Tedeschi stuck in a three-bet on the button. The blinds folded and Chidwick called to see a flop of {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Chidwick checked to Tedeschi who bet 6,400 and Chidwick called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Chidwick checked again and Tedeschi announced all in, putting Chidwick to the test for his last 34,500 chips. Chidwick used up two of his tim extensions before making the call.

Tedeschi turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and his kicker was good enough to defeat Chidwick's {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and send him to the rail.
