One for Davies

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Seth Davies raised to 2,200 from the middle position and Ben Heath three-bet to 5,200. Action folded back to Davies who made the call.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, Davies check-called the 2,000 continuation-bet of Heath.

They both checked through the {8-Clubs} on the turn to the {k-Clubs} on the river. Davies used a time bank card and opted to check, Heath quickly did the same. Davies tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the flopped pair of aces which were improved to two pair and that was enough to pick up the pot.

The board read {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} with 6,000 in the middle. Adrian Mateos checked in the cutoff and Sam Greenwood bet 3,000 on the button. Mateos took a few seconds but opted to fold.

The hand after, Greenwood raised to 1,800 from the cutoff and Jimmy Guerrero defended his big blind. They both checked through the {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Guerrero checked and then folded when Greenwood bet 1,600.

Two Busts

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Burns Busts Alt

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Dinesh Alt got up from his chair when he was in the cutoff and his stack was being pushed to Kahle Burns in the big blind.

Burns still had {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} showing in front of him on the {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades} board and the dealer was kind enough to relay that Alt held {10-}{10-}.

Two Lost Hands for Tuna

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Akin Tuna
Akin Tuna

On the first hand, the board read {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} with around 16,000 in the middle. Matthias Eibinger had bet 4,700 from the cutoff and Akin Tuna called on the button but mucked when Eibinger tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the nut flush.

The hand after, Tuna raised to 1,800 from the cutoff and Sam Grafton defended his big blind. They both checked through the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop to the {4-Clubs} on the turn. Grafton bet 8,000 and Tuna called. The river completed the board with the {a-Diamonds} and Grafton bet another 8,000. Tuna tanked, using a time bank card, and then called. Grafton showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the flopped set of sevens and that was more than enough to claim the pot.
