Welcome to the first event of the 2019 European Poker Tour Prague which is the €10,300 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. The first day of this 2-day event kicks off at 5 p.m. local time here at the magnificent Hilton Prague. Last year, 38 entries were attracted to the first €10k of the festival with Turkey's Akin Tuna taking the tournament down by beating Ognyan Dimov heads-up for €125,330.

The temperature outside might be freezing but all players will be hoping to run very hot over the next few days.
Players will receive 50,000 in chips in their start stack, level duration will last 40 minutes throughout the tournament. A 30-second shot clock will be in play from the start with players receiving 6 time bank cards, worth 30 seconds each, with their start stack. An additional 3 will be awarded at the start of Day 2 with another 3 handed out when the final table has been reached. If players bust, one reentry is allowed until the start of Day 2 on December 7 at 1 p.m. local time.
A 15-minute break will be scheduled after Level 3, 6, and 8 and Day 1 will feature ten levels of play. The PokerNews live reporting team will be roaming the floor from the first shuffle up and deal in Prague until the final chip has been bagged for Day 2.
