Thorel Flushes Out Levinskas

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised it up to 10,000 from the hijack and Laurynas Levinskas shipped all in for just under 60,000 in the big blind. Thorel instantly called and the two players were flipping.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Laurynas Levinskas: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} put Levinskas out front with a pair of queens but Thorel had a flush draw. The {j-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but it was the {k-Hearts} on the river that gave Thorel a flush and eliminated Levinskas.

Pedersen Makes "Nice Call" To Double

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Simon Pedersen
Simon Pedersen

There was a pile of chips in the middle totaling at least 100,000 with a board of {9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} with action heads up between Simon Pedersen, who was under the gun, and Jun Obara in the hijack. Pedersen had checked and Obara had put Pedersen all in for effectively what was around a pot-sized bet.

Pedersen went into the tank, using two time extensions. The second extension ran out and a third may have been enacted as Pedersen decided to announce a call.

"Nice call," said Obara, tabling {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Pedersen showed {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Pedersen found himself having correctly called with top pair and needed to fade only the three remaining aces in the deck to stay alive. He would do just that on the river {6-Diamonds}, locking up the double as a result. His stack was totaled to be 108,500 and Obara sent the proper amount his way, tapping the felt and looking Pedersen's way in a congratulatory fashion.

Hartmann Cracks Aces to Double Up

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With around 100,000 in the middle, the board read {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Pascal Hartmann checked from the hijack and Ole Schemion bet 23,500 in the cutoff. Hartmann check-raised all in for 104,500 and Schemion dipped into the tank.

After using three of his time extensions, Schemion finally made the call. Hartmann turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair which was leading Schemion's {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. The river was the {4-Hearts} which didn't help Schemion and Hartmann doubled up.

Queen-High Vaults Grafton Over 300k

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Artur Martirosian opened to 9,000 on the button and Sam Grafton called from the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Grafton check-called a bet of 8,000 from Martirosian.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Grafton checked again. Martirosian fired another 28,000 and Grafton stuck around to see the {4-Clubs} on the river. Both players tapped the table and Grafton showed {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} which was good enough to win the pot.

Pedersen and Greenwood Each Win One

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #1:

Sam Greenwood opened to 8,000 under the gun and received a call from Joris Ruijs in the hijack. Simon Pedersen was on the button and announced he was all in, effectively putting everybody with cards in front of themselves to a decision for their respective stacks. The blinds got out of the way and Greenwood thought for a couple seconds before folding as well. Ruijs folded behind and Pedersen took down the pot preflop.

Hand #2:

On the following hand, Pedersen opened to 9,000 in the cutoff and Greenwood defended his big blind. Action went heads up to a flop of {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Greenwood check-called a continuation-bet of 13,000 from Pedersen.

Action then checked through the turn {7-Clubs} and river {8-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Greenwood showed {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Pedersen sent his cards to the muck, resulting in Greenwood's pair of fours taking down the pot.
