Eliminated for €5,160

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The following players finished 56-71st place to receive a payday of €5,160.

Toan Outruns Fast

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Dietrich Fast
Dietrich Fast

Dietrich Fast opened for 40,000 in the cutoff and Robbie Toan three-bet to 140,000 in the big blind. Fast moved all in and Toan called.

Fast: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Toan: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} kept the flip interesting as Fast picked up the nut flush draw. The {10-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} were bricks, however.

"Boom!" Toan said. "That's what I'm talkin' about."

Fast hurriedly gathered his stuff, but stacks were close. The tournament staff counted out his chips and got a total of 785,000, which Toan slightly covered with a little over 800,000.

Clement Richez
Clement Richez

Clement Richez opened on the button and called the shove of Manuel Fernandes, who had 133,000 in the small blind.

Richez: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Fernandes: {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The {j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board left Fernandes patting the table, dead to the {8-Spades} river.

Kim Sucks Out on Durnegger

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Gab Yong Kim opened to 40,000 in early position and action folded around to Markus Durnegger, who was on the button and reraised all in for his last 309,000. Kim made the call once action got back to him.

Markus Durnegger: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Gab Yong Kim: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Durnegger was in front until the flop {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} hit the felt and he was left in the dust as the turn {4-Spades} and river {a-Clubs} completed the runout and resulted in his elimination from the tournament.

Lampros Gets Lucky Against D'Alterio

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Vlachos Lampros was all in from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and he was in bad shape against the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Luigi D'Alterio from the button.

The {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop didn't help him either, but the {a-Clubs} on the turn did. The case queen kept hidden in the deck after the {4-Spades} was dealt.

Lampros stayed alive while D'Alterio lost a little bit of his stack.

Cho Stands Up, Sits Back Down

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Jeonggyu Cho
Jeonggyu Cho

Jeonggyu Cho went all in for 22,000 in middle position and action folded around to Christoforos Chrysochoidis, who called on the button. Alexandre Reard was next to act in the small blind and called as well, as did the big blind to take any future action three ways to a side pot while Cho had his eyes set on a quadruple and more.

The flop came {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Reard led out for 32,000, getting folds from the big blind as well as Chrysochoidis to leave just two players with cards in front of themselves.

Jeonggyu Cho: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Alexandre Reard: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Cho saw that his two overcards were behind Reard's ten and would need to hit to stay alive. Assuming his fate, he stood up as the turn came {7-Diamonds}, leaving him with just one card left to stay alive. It came {q-Spades} to save him and the dealer motioned at him to let him know that he had in fact won the pot, resulting in him sitting down and collecting the chips that were shipped his way.

Grafton Eliminates Macalou in Apologetic Fashion

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On the river, the board read {2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Sam Grafton was in the cutoff facing an all-in shove from Silma Macalou on the button.

"Ohhh, how much is that?" Grafton asked, stretching.

The total was 113,000.

"What you got bro?" Grafton asked. "King-queen?"

Macalou remained silent and Grafton slammed in some chips moments later. Macalou revealed {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for top pair but Grafton had him outkicked with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. He immediately grabbed Macalou and embraced him, apologizing.

"Sorry, bro," he said. "I'm such a nit, I always think the worst."

Hynes Can't Win a Flip Against Reard

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Aidan Hynes
Aidan Hynes

It folded to Alexandre Reard on the button and the French pro raised to 34,000. Jean-René Fontaine got out of the way in the small blind but big blind Aidan Hynes quickly moved all in. An even quicker call by Reard followed and they opened up.

Hynes showed {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and he was flipping against the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of Reard.

Hynes had even more outs after the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop was dealt but he wasn't able to get there on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river and he was eliminated from the tournament.
