Clement Richez Eliminated in 18th Place (€13,280)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Clement Richez
Clement Richez

We didn't see how the action went, but Clement Richez got his roughly 700,000 stack in from the big blind with {q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and was against the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} of small blind Christoforos Chrysochoidis. The {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop left Richez drawing thin but he did have a shot after the {5-Diamonds} turn. A {3-Diamonds} river was no help, though.

Jon Vallinas Eliminated in 19th Place (€13,280)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jon Vallinas Santos
Jon Vallinas Santos

Jon Vallinas lost a little bit after the break before he got his chips in the middle with {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Alexandre Reard. Vallinas was at risk of elimination but Reard didn't have him covered by a lot.

The two saw the board run out {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} and both hit two pair but Reard's kicker earned him the pot and his Vallinas was eliminated from the tournament in 19th place.

He took home €13,280 for his deep run.

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The remaining 19 players were just sent on their 75-minute dinner break. Blinds will be 30,000/60,000 when they return with a 60,000 big blind ante. The average stack will be around 25 big blinds and they are expected to have cards back in the air at 8:55 pm local time.

Mikhail Zub Eliminated in 20th Place (€13,280)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Mikhail Zub
Mikhail Zub

Action folded around to Mikhail Zub in on the button and he went all in for 580,000. Jose Quintas called from the small blind.

Mikhail Zub: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Jose Quintas: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Zub was ahead but the flop {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} gave Quintas four more outs to a straight. Quintas would not need his straight outs as the turn came {q-Hearts}, leaving Zub with one last shot at six outs to stay alive. The river {6-Diamonds} was not one of those outs and he finished the tournament in 20th place as a result.

Toan Ships and Shows

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Julien Martini made a pot-sized bet of 400,000 from the button on a board of {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Robbie Toan asked to see his remaining stack, which was just under 1 million. He then jammed. Martini went into the tank but appeared ready to fold after about 30 seconds. He put his cards back down and thought about another minute before eventually releasing.

Toan showed {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

"Robbie, look what's up top!" Sam Grafton said with a laugh. "Take it easy, Robbie!"

"I was probably ahead," Toan said.

Wiecek Shoves on the Turn

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

There was about 350,000 in the middle on a board reading {7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} with action heads up between Lior Tal in the small blind and Piotr Wiecek, who was in the cutoff. Tal had a bet of 125,000 in front of him and action was on Wiecek, who was in the tank.

After around a half-minute, Wiecek put out a raise to 270,000 and Tal thought for a couple of seconds before putting out chips to call. The turn came {3-Clubs} and Tal checked. Wiecek announced he was all in and Tal asked for a count, which was totaled to be 570,000. Tal thought for a few moments and then let his cards go across the felt face-down in the dealer's direction.

Jon Vallinas Santos
Jon Vallinas Santos

Jon Vallinas was in the cutoff and saw action folded to him. He shoved all in and received two folds to put action onto Alexandre Reard in the big blind. Reard asked for a count and the number was totaled to be 280,000. He made the call.

Jon Vallinas: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Alexandre Reard: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Vallinas hit a queen on the flop and enjoyed smooth sailing from there on out as the board came {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades} to score him the dub.
