Achegsei Makes Two Pair

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player opened the action with a raise to 1,000 from under the gun, and Ahmad Achegsei called from middle position, as did the players on the button and in the big blind to take four players to a flop of {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}. All four players checked.

The turn was {5-Hearts} and the big blind led out with a bet of 2,600. Only Achegsei called to proceed heads up as the river fell {2-Diamonds}. The big blind checked to Achegsei, who put out a bet of 4,500. After some deliberation, a call was made.

"Two pair," announced Achegsei, showing {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}. His opponent looked back at his own cards and then sent them to the muck, resulting in the pot being sent Achegsei's way.

Sootla Takes From Ali

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Walid Abdi Ali was among those to enter as of recently and he took a seat right next to Estonia's Ranno Sootla. Both clashed in a small pot that saw a {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} turn and Ali checked to Sootla, who bet 1,400. Ali calld and they checked down the {j-Clubs} on the river.

Ali turned over {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Sootla dragged in the pot with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Serratore Finds a Double

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

There was about 3,500 in the middle on a board of {7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} as Tommaso Serratore went all in over the top of a bet of 2,200 from the player on his right, who quickly tossed in another chip to call.

Tommaso Serratore: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Serratore was in prime shape to double with his set of nines to his opponent's top two pair as long as he could fade a king or running hearts. He would do just that as the turn {a-Diamonds} and river {a-Clubs} completed the runout, unnecessarily improving him to a full house, nines full of aces in the process. He pushed forward his stack, which the dealer totaled to be 7,500, and his opponent paid accordingly as the entire pot was shipped to Serratore as his reward for the double.

Da Doesn't Double; Busts to Chen

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Anatoly Chen
Anatoly Chen

Peter Da checked and called a bet worth 4,000 by Anatoly Chen on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. They headed to the {j-Clubs} turn and Da checked again. Chen now made it 15,000 to go and Da reluctantly moved all in, Chen quickly came along.

Peter Da: {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Anatoly Chen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

The river came the blank {9-Hearts} and Da headed to the rail.

Peretz Five-Bet Shoves

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player in middle position opened to 800 and Yaniv Peretz three-bet to 2,500 from the hijack. Action folded to the small blind, who thought for some time and then cold four-bet to 7,800. The original opener quickly folded.

Peretz then thought for less than 15 seconds before announcing he was all in. The small blind quickly sent his cards to the muck and Peretz took down the pot, adding a chunk to his stack without needing to see a flop to do so.

Isberg Wins with Flush

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Kyosti Isberg opened the action with a raise to 800 from under the gun and Julien Martini called on his direct left. Action folded around to the small blind, who called, as did the big blind to take postflop action four ways.

The flop came {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades} and action checked to Martini, who put out a bet of 1,600. The small blind quickly folded to put action onto the big blind, who asked for confirmation of the amount and thought for a bit before calling. Isberg called quickly thereafter. Action then checked through the turn {8-Spades} and river {5-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

The big blind showed {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a flush with his seven playing. Isberg then showed {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a jack-high flush and Martini sent his cards to the muck, unable to top said flush as the pot was sent Isberg's way.

Lahav Takes Three-Way Pot

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

On the river of a board {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Jaromir Hanel in the small blind and Andre Moreira in the big blind both checked. The pot until then was some 10,000 and Doron Lahav made it 6,000 to go.

Hanel reluctantly folded and Moreira also gave it some thought before folding. Hanel immediately entered table chat with his neighbor Marek Sindelar, both players are close to the starting stack right now.
