Wheeler Loses Chunk to Zagon

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

The player in the early position had raised to 300 and Vasile Zagon had a chip of 1,000 in front of him in the middle position. Jason Wheeler had four-bet to 4,500 in the big blind. The original raiser folded and Zagon made the call.

They both checked through the {6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. Wheeler bet 4,500 and Zagon made the call.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades}, Wheeler fired 10,000 over the line and Zagon tanked for a while before making the call. Wheeler tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for Zagon to quickly flip over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the pair of queens to scoop the pot.

Elliott Jams The River

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Mustafa Biz has chipped up early on a table that also includes Espen Uhlen Jorstad and Belmehel Dja Daouadji while Stephen Elliott had taken an early hit.

Elliott then check-raised out of the big blind on the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and made it 1,800 to go, which his sole remaining opponent Gabriel Akiki called. Elliott bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 3,200 to receive a call and then moved all in for 8,900 on the {3-Clubs} river. Akiki mulled over his decision for a while and folded.

Kollatos Gets Martini to Muck

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Stylianos Kollatos limped in from the middle position and Julien Martini raised to 600 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Kollatos who made the call.

They both checked through the {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Kollatos bet 600 which was called by Martini. Kollatos tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the pair of nines on the board with the ace-kicker and that was enough to get Martini to muck his hand.
