Phiniotis Sends Home a Shorty

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chrysi Phiniotis raised to 5,000 from early position and action folded around to the player on the button, who went all in for around 14,000. Phiniotis called once action made its way back to him.

All-In Player: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Chrysi Phiniotis: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, giving Phiniotis an open-ended straight draw that he completed on the turn {k-Clubs}. Phiniotis shrugged to the soon-to-be-eliminated player as the river {2-Diamonds} finished the runout and the pot was sent his way, earning him the knockout and the pot to go along with it.

Peukert Sends One Home

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stefan Peukert raised it up from under the gun and the action folded around to the big blind who three-bet to 17,000. Peukert responded with a four-bet shove and his opponent eventually made the call.

Stefan Peukert: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Peukert jumped out front with a pair of aces. The {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Peukert eliminated his opponent who was at risk for around 38,000.

Paris Wins a Small One

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Bryan Paris opened to 4,400 from the hijack and was three-bet to 10,300 by Daniel Samson, who was in the cutoff. Action made its way back to Paris and he made the call, bringing a flop of {2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Paris checked and Samson put out a continuation-bet of 8,000, which Paris called. Action then checked through the turn {3-Spades} and river {9-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Samson tabled {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} upon checking back and Paris turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to take down the pot with his pair of kings.

Juutilainen Toasted by Pasco

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jerwin Pasco opened to 4,000 under the gun and action folded around to Henri Juutilainen, who defended his big blind. The two saw a flop of {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Juutilainen check-called a continuation-bet of 3,100 from Pasco.

The turn came {9-Hearts} and Juutilainen checked again. Pasco fired a bet of around the size of the pot, totaling 17,000. Juutilainen went into the tank for close to two minutes and then put out chips to call.

The river fell {a-Diamonds} and Juutilainen checked once more. Pasco went all in, effectively putting Juutilainen to a decision for the rest of his chips, and he instantly called.

Jerwin Pasco: {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Henri Juutilainen: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Juutilainen's rivered top two pair proved to be no good against Pasco's flopped flush, leaving him dry on chips as Pasco took down the sizeable pot to bring him to just under 150,000.
