Colillas Calls with Ace-High

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

Ramon Colillas raised it up from middle position and Brice Guido called from the hijack. The two players saw a flop of {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and both players checked to the {8-Clubs} on the turn.

Colillas tossed in a bet of 2,000 and Guido stuck around to see the {3-Clubs} on the river. Colillas checked this time and Guido counted out a bet of 5,500. Colillas dropped in a call and Guido turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Colillas showed {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a slightly better kicked and was awarded the pot.

Chernenko Can't Get There

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was around 8,000 in the middle on the turn with a board of {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Yurii Chernenko had check-raised all in for 21,100 over a bet of 5,500 from Maxime Chilaud, who was in the cutoff. A third player in middle position was in the process of folding and Chilaud tossed in a chip to call once it became his turn to do so.

Yurii Chernenko: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Maxime Chilaud: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Chernenko had check-raised all in with his two overcards and gutshot straight draw and had gotten action from Chilaud's pair of nines, giving him 10 outs for the river to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, the river {7-Hearts} was of no help and became the last card of his tournament life.

Kuszczak Hits a Higher Full House

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On the last hand of the previous level, Yunye Lu was under the gun and opened to 2,200. Action folded around to Piotr Kuszczak, who was on the button and called. The big blind came along as well and the flop came {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Spades}. The big blind checked to Lu, who made a continuation-bet of 2,200. Kuszczak called and the big blind folded.

With action heads up, the turn came {q-Spades}. Lu checked to Kuszczak and he bet 4,200. Lu went into the tank for over 90 seconds and then put out a check-raise to 7,500. The dealer informed him his raise must be 8,400 and he put out another 900 to make the raise legal.

Kuszczak then took his time in the tank, taking around a minute before calling. The river came {q-Hearts} and Lu bet another 3,000. Kuszczak called.

Lu tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a full house, tens full of aces, and Kuszczak turned over {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} to show aces full and take down the pot.

Livshitz Finds a Double Up

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

George Chiriac opened to 2,200 in early position and the action folded to Gaby Livshitz in the small blind. The two players have some history in their brief time at the table and Livshitz moved all in for 27,700. "I have a big hand," Chiriac said before making the call.

Gaby Livshitz: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
George Chiriac: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop of {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} put Livshitz in a commanding position with a pair of aces. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing and the {a-Diamonds} on the river ensured Livshitz of a double up.

Bagocius Wins at Showdown

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Bleron Maliqi was in early position and opened to 2,500. He was called by Mantas Bagocius, who was on his direct left, and action folded around to the big blind who also defended.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the big blind checked. Maliqi made a continuation-bet of 2,500 and Bagocius called. The big blind folded, taking action heads up to the turn {2-Diamonds} where both players checked. The river then fell {2-Hearts} and saw action check through once more to take the hand to showdown.

Maliqi showed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for nines up and Bagocius tabled {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for tens up, earning the pot with his two pair.
