Schable Busts; Mijolovic Triples and Busts After

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A three-way all-in saw Dalibor Mijolovic at risk against David Schable and Paulius Lipskis.

Dalibor Mijolovic: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
David Schable: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Paulius Lipskis: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board let Mijolovic tripled up to around 75,000 while Schable busted.

In the next hand, however, Mijolovic busted after he was unable to beat the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} of David Vesely on a board of {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Van Oort Gets a Double

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

An all in and call were overheard and Paul van Oort was all in for his last 100,000 exactly from the big blind, having received action from Chia Lin Chang who was in early position.

Paul van Oort: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Chia Lin Chang: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Van Oort smashed the flop {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}, only needing to fade running straight or flush outs to stay alive. The turn {4-Spades} gave him a full house and had Chang drawing dead for her river {a-Diamonds} consolation prize.

"One-hundred thousand," confirmed Van Oort and Chang sent the chips his way.

Erik Hallgren: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Filip Holmqvist: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades} for Holmqvist to flop a pair of eights to send Hallgren to the rail.

A Round of Chip Counts

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Mattila Busts Borlan and Uselis

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

"Wow that's a big pot," Jussi Nevanlinna said from the rail as he had just witnessed how fellow countryman Jussi Mattila had knocked out Dan Serban Borlan and Gediminas Uselis. Both Borlan and Uselis had been among the biggest stacks earlier on Day 2 but that came to a crashing end.

Borlan had jammed the button with {k-}{7-} and Mattila called in the small blind with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Uselis then jammed the big blind with the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Uselis called to put two players at risk.

The {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board provided the ace on the river for Mattila, who was busy stacking chips for a while as the table broke right after.

Some Chip Counts

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Stasiewicz Rivers Top Two Pair

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ting Yi Tsai pumped it up to 35,000 under the gun and action folded around to Bartosz Stasiewicz, who called from the cutoff. All players behind folded and action went heads up to a flop of {5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Tsai made a continuation-bet of 35,000 and Stasiewicz called.

Action checked through the turn {3-Clubs}, bringing the river {q-Spades}. Stasiewicz fired out 75,000 and Tsai quickly called.

Stasiewicz tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a rivered top two pair and Tsai let out a bit of a chuckling sigh of disbelief upon seeing the hand.

"Nice hand," said Tsai. "Seventy-five?" he asked, receiving confirmation and sending the appropriate amount across the table to Stasiewicz.

Telman Pairs His Ace

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Gregory Telman was in the process of calling a small-blind raise to 42,000 by Christian Gomero Candela after limping in from the cutoff, taking action heads up to a flop of {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Both players checked.

Gomero Candela bet 79,000 on the turn {6-Hearts} and Telman thought for a few seconds and then called. The river fell {10-Hearts} and action went check-check to take the hand to showdown.

Telman turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} upon checking back, and Gomero Candela showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} at roughly the same time, with his kings proving no good to Telman's aces.

Dahan Eliminated by Zukernik

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Philipp Zukernik had already chipped up before looking up a short-stacked Refael Dahan for the last couple of big blinds.

Refael Dahan: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Philipp Zukernik: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} board failed to provide a miracle for Dahan and Zukernik moved up to nearly one million in chips.
