Zahiti Takes It on the River

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Fidan Zahiti saw action folded to him on the button and opened to 18,000. Andrej Desset defended his big blind and the two saw a flop of {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Desset checked to Zahiti, who took about 35 seconds before making a continuation-bet of 23,000. Desset called.

Action checked through the turn {7-Diamonds}, bringing the river {k-Spades} on board. Desset checked once more and Zahiti took well over a minute in the tank before counting out 45,000 and putting it into the middle. Desset thought for a couple of seconds and sent his cards to the muck.

Kitai Doubles Chrysovergis, Then Busts

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action folded to Davidi Kitai in the small blind and he went all in for his last 10 or so big blinds. Emmanouil Chrysovergis was in the big blind and called off his remaining chips, which totaled less than that of Kitai.

Emmanouil Chrysovergis: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Davidi Kitai: {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Chrysovergis was out in front and had a straight by the turn as the board ran out {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, fading the chop on the river en route to a double.

Moments later, Kitai was seen leaving the table after losing a runout for the last 21,000 in his stack with the pot being sent to Man Tsun Ho.

Banic Wins Flip To Double

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ivan Banic was under the gun and went all in for 67,000. Action folded around to Vasyl Zabrodskyy who was in the small blind and asked for a count before making the call.

Ivan Banic: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Vasyl Zabrodskyy: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Banic found himself in as good of shape as possible in a coin flip situation with his deuces against Zabrodskyy's unpaired ace. The flop {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} gave Zabrodskyy top pair, but it also put Banic in pole position as his two twos became three. He faded running cards on the turn {8-Spades} and river {5-Clubs} to double and Zabrodskyy sent the requisite amount across the table in Banic's direction.
