Chen Wins One Before Break

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christoffer Brandsborg was in the hijack and opened to 22,000. He was three-bet to 68,000 by Virgil Grecu, who was in the cutoff, putting action onto Pete Chen on the button. Chen thought for a bit and then cold-called, prompting quick folds from the players in the blinds. Brandsborg folded quickly behind.

The flop came {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Grecu checked. Chen postured for a moment and then put out a continuation-bet of 70,000. Grecu quickly folded and Chen took down the pot.

Jepsen Sent To Payouts

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Metin Cevik opened to 22,000 in the cutoff and was three-bet all in by Thomas Jepsen, who was in the small blind. Cevik asked for a count, which was totaled to be 74,000, and then thought about it for a bit. He said something to Jepsen, who responded with the likes of being unsure if he had fold equity. Cevik thought some more and then decided to make the call.

Thomas Jepsen: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Metin Cevik: {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Jepsen was ahead until the flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, giving Cevik a pair of tens. He would not improve on the turn {2-Hearts}, leaving one last chance at a double. The river {q-Diamonds} left Jepsen dry, resulting in his elimination from the tournament as Cevik saw the pot sent his way, bringing his stack up to 700,000.

One Frenchman Eliminates Another

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Gilles Lamy: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Mehdi Violleau: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}, leaving the landscape unchanged.

Quaade and Reilly exchanged pleasantries as Reilly got up from his seat, wishing the rest of the table good luck as he did so.
