Wang Eliminated

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Yang Wang was already all-in for a main pot of around 5,000 and a side pot of 4,200 had emerged between Per Linde and Georgios Vrakas. The two remaining active players checked the {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades} turn and did so again after the {a-Clubs} as well.

Wang flashed what appeared to be {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Linde had that beat with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Vrakas tabled {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Small Pots for Dimov and Hungerkamp

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Ognyan Dimov opened the action with a raise to 400 and was called by Aleksandr Chernikov and Stylianos Mountakis. The flop came {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and a bet of 900 by Dimov did the trick to win the pot right there.

One hand later, Xavier Mouysset opened to 300 and picked up three callers. They checked the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and Andre Hungerkamp bet the {4-Spades} turn for 700, only Mouysset called. After the {q-Hearts} river, Hungerkamp bet 1,700 and that won the pot without resistance.

Big Bet Poker By Calamusa

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Having checked through the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and the {j-Diamonds} turn, Firat Baltaci bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 400 and Pierre Calamusa called. Baltaci tabled the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

One hand later, Brandon Mifsud opened to 300 and Calamusa reraised to 1,000, only Mifsud called. The flop fell {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Mifsud check-called a bet of 1,500 before quickly doing so again for 5,000 on the {10-Hearts} turn. Mifsud checked the {k-Diamonds} river and Calamusa emptied the clip with a third barrel for 15,000.

Mifsud reluctantly folded and guessed Calamusa on pocket queens.

More for Wang

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

The two Wangs over at table 3 are trending in opposite directions, with Wen Lin Wang being the one to surge upwards in the early stages. On a {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board, he put out a bet of 9,500 against Antal Roth, who opted to fold his hand.

Georgios Vrakas, an EPT National and National High Roller champion, is also at the table.

Guilbert Off to a Good Start

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a completed board of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} with round 7,000 in the middle, French poker pro and online streamer Johan "YoH ViraL" Guilbert made it 12,200 to go for far more than the size of the pot. His sole remaining opponent by then was Karolis Sereika. He went deep into the think tank and eventually released his cards into the muck.

The table also features Martin Staszko, Sylvain Loosli, and Julian Feral on his second entry, among others.

Wang Loses Some More

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On the river of a board {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Yang Wang called a bet of 1,400 by Agostino Ascone and mucked when he was being shown the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a full house by the Italian.

Wang has dropped to half the starting stack while Joshua Zimmerman and Wen Lin Wang are the early chip leaders at their table.
