Li Busts Lipp During the Break

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Yuan Li
Yuan Li

Two hands took several minutes into the break and one of them would once again see Yuan Li and [Removed:220] in action in a battle button versus big blind. On the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, Lipp bet 3,000 and Li min-raised to 6,000, which Lipp reluctantly called.

After the {k-Spades} turn, Lipp checked with just shy of 20,000 behind and Li moved all in for 20,100. Lipp tanked until six minutes of the break had passed and then called it off.

[Removed:220]: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Yuan Li: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {10-Hearts} river was a blank and Lipp was covered by a few chips only to hit the rail.

Kulev Chips Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

In a hand that went well into the break, Salim El Boustani raised to 500 from the middle position and was called by Alex Kulev in the hijack. Marcin Lesniewski three-bet to 1,300 in the cutoff. Action folded back to El Boustani who made the call. Kulev took some time but also made the call in the end.

The flop came {j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, it was checked to Lesniewski who continued with a bet of 3,300 which only Kulev called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, Kulev check-called the 6,000 continuation-bet of Lesniewski.

The river completed the board with the {k-Spades}, Kulev contemplated for a bit and then took over the initiative by betting 8,800. Lesniewski considered his options for a while and then folded.

Kudzmanas Makes Mikolaitis Fold on the River

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was about 7,000 in the middle and the board read {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} when Dominykas Mikolaitis checked to Marius Kudzmanas. Kudzmanas fired a bet of 4,500 and that resulted in a very quick fold by Mikolaitis.

Kudzmanas had a taste of EPT glory when he won the opening €1,100 event in Monte Carlo at the EPT back in May. He won the tournament for €42,590 but he is now trying to win an EPT Main Event.

Tremzin and Grasu Rising

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Alexander Ivanov checked the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} turn and faced a bet of 4,000 into a pot of 2,500 by Gleb Tremzin. Ivanov let go and was then involved in the next hand again. Alin Grasu raised the hijack and Marian Mik called in the cutoff. Ivanov three-bet to 2,200 on the button and Grasu clicked it back to 6,500.

Mik let go, and Ivanov also opted to fold.

Right after the hand was finished, Tremzin was moved to a new table to balance the growing field.

Bosen Five-Bets

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Daniel Rezaei raised to 500 from the button and Peter Bosen three-bet to 1,500 in the small blind. Georgios Vrakas called in the big blind but Rezaei four-bet to 4,800. Bosen five-bet to 13,500 and Vrakas took some time. He looked over to both Rezaei and Bosen, looked down at his cards once more, shook his head, and then folded. Rezaei smiled, looked over to Bosen, went through his options, and then decided to fold.
