Piquette Chips Up Through Suarez

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Anton Suarez opened the action with a raise to 4,500 and Jean-Philippe Piquette came along on the button. They checked through the {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Suarez bet the {q-Diamonds} turn for 6,000, Piquette called. No betting action followed on the {7-Diamonds} river and Suarez tabled the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for king-high, Piquette claimed the pot with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a pair of queens.

Dogan Dusts Bendinelli

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Giuliano Bendinelli went all in from the cutoff over a hijack open and saw Deniz Dogan also commit the entirety of his chips on the button. Everybody else folded.

Giuliano Bendinelli: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Deniz Dogan: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, with Dogan's ace-king remaining best all along. Dogan's stack was counted to be 42,500 and Bendinelli's was just below that, resulting in his elimination from the tournament.

Dubrouski Gets Full Value To Earn Double

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There was a little over 50,000 in the middle on a board of {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Aliaksei Dubrouski was all in from the hijack for his last 31,000. Action was on Michal Janczarski, who was in the cutoff and in the tank. After some thought, he clicked the call button.

Aliaksei Dubrouski: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Michal Janczarski: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Janczarski had called with the second-nut trips and saw the bad news when Dubrouski turned over the nuts, earning the double with aces full.

Katzenberger Gets Value From Tuna

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Viktor Katzenberger had been the initial raiser for 4,000 and Akin Tuna stuck around on the button. A bet and a call for 9,000 was pulled in already and the river showed {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Katzenberger now bet 18,000 with around 22,000 behind and Tuna called.

Katzenberger revealed the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trips tens and that won the pot.

Michalak Overbet Shoves the Turn

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Hugo Pingray opened to 4,000 in the hijack and was called by Jakob Michalak, who was on the button. Alin Grasu came along as well, defending his big blind to take action three ways to the flop {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Grasu and Pingray checked over to Michalak, who bet 5,000 and received a fold from Grasu and a call from Pingray.

The turn came {j-Spades} and Pingray checked to Michalak again. Michalak slid forward his remaining chips and Pingray asked for a count, which was totaled to be 34,500. Pingray thought for about a minute and then sent his cards to the muck.

Schaap Runs Into Michot's Kings

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

First to act, Ad Schaap open-shoved all in for 39,500. Laurent Michot was next to act and also moved all in for over 100,000. It got folded around to Azad Jabrayilov, who briefly considered it but then flew his {q-}{q-} with relative ease open in the muck.

Ad Schaap: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Laurent Michot: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

"No queen," Jabrayilov whispered, followed by a "thanks" when the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop fell. The dealer correctly pointed out there were still two cards to sweat, but neither the {3-Hearts} turn nor {10-Clubs} river did anything to challenge Michot's overpair.

Hvam Happy With the Outcome

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Morten Hvam opened to 4,500 and Sylvain Loosli three-bet to 14,000 in the cutoff, which then resulted in a four-bet to 33,000 by Hvam. Loosli made the call and they ended up checking down the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board entirely.

Hvam turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Loosli mucked.

"That was a crap flop, but I am happy with the outcome," Hvam said in table chat to his neighbor.
