Quads for El Asmar

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Lin Ruida bet the turn and river of a board {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Hady El Asmar check-called the first bet of 5,000, then check-jammed into a bet of 20,000. Ruida called the 60,500 and El Asmar grinned "give it to me" as he tabled {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} for quads, Ruida flashed {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

"Thank you," El Asmar followed up and Ruida, who was still smiling, replied with a "you're welcome." Ruida still has more than half a million in chips.

Saderne Gets Hooked and Cooked

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Norbert Szecsi was in middle position and raised to 6,000. Action made its way around to Jeremy Saderne in the small blind and he three-bet all in. Szecsi immediately called.

Jeremy Saderne: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Norbert Szecsi: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Saderne found his sixes up against Szecsi's jacks and was in need of spiking a third six to stay alive. The flop {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} gave him a couple backdoor opportunities, but they were spoiled by the turn {q-Clubs} to put him right back where he started with one last chance at survival. The prayer was not answered on the river {5-Clubs} and Saderne found himself out of the tournament.
