Kiselev Spikes Lucky Double

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

It folded to Daniil Kiselev in the small blind who moved all in for 137,000. Mikhail Sokolovskiy called in the big blind.

Kiselev sheepishly turned over {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Sokolovskiy showed {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The flop came {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} giving Kiselev the lead with a pair and a flush draw to boot.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and although Sokolovskiy celebrated the {7-Clubs} river as he himself made a pair, his joy was shortlived as he realised Kiselev had made a flush.

Queens No Good for Achilov

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Marat Achilov
Marat Achilov

Andrey Subbotin limped in the small blind and Marat Achilov, having shoved from under the gun one hand prior, raised all in for 195,000 from the big blind. Subbotin thought before calling.

Andrey Subotin: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Marat Achilov: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Achilov had woken up with a big hand in the big blind but an ace on the {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop gave Subbotin the lead that he didn't relinquish on the {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} runout.

Defending Champion Houzvicek Bubbles Redraw

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matous Houzvicek
Matous Houzvicek

Sergey Petrushevskiy opened and Matous Houzvicek defended his big blind.

The flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} was checked and the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Houzvicek bet 70,000 into about 110,000 and Petrushevskiy called.

The river was the {10-Hearts}. Houzvicek jammed for approximately 450,000 and Petrushveskiy called.

Houzvicek showed {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a stone-cold blubff and Petrushveskiy's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was way ahead having rivered a flush to eliminate the defending champion.

Lukin Benefits From Clash with Khamidullin

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Daniil Lukin raised to 45,000 from under the gun and Timur Khamidullin three-bet to 115,000 in the cutoff. Lukin paused before goinng all in over the top and it was a quick call from Khamidullin.

Daniil Lukin: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Timur Khamidullin: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Khamidullin was the player in trouble but he found no help on the {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop. The {9-Diamonds} brought an open-ended draw but he couldn't complete it on the {9-Clubs} river. It leaves Khamidullin down to 10 big blinds.
