Triple Up for Hissou

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a three-way all-in, Sirzat Hissou was the shortest stack and at risk for a mere 28,000 on his second bullet. Adrian Mateos had him covered but was also at risk as Yin Qiaofeng got involved, too.

Sirzat Hissou: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Yin Qiaofeng: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Hissou tripled up while Mateos doubled through Qiaofeng for 40,500.

Chip and a Chair for Sereika

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

According to Thomas Muehloecker, Karolis Sereika was left with crumbs when he ran with queens into the aces of Rodrigo Sirichuk. Sereika was then all-in before the flop and three players came along to try and earn the €5,000 bounty on his head including Sirichuk, Muehloecker in the big blind and Pierre Christensen.

On the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, only Sirichuk and Christensen invested 5,000 each and the {2-Hearts} turn saw Sirichuk check. Christensen bet 12,500 to earn a call and Sirichuk check-folded the {a-Diamonds} on the river when Christensen bet 45,000.

"I was bluffing," the Dane announced as he rolled over the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Sereika remained in contention as his {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} had connected with the board.

Mayer Eliminated by Tominaga

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Andre Mayer went all-in for the last 21,000 in the cutoff and was called by Alexandros Theologis on the button. Daichi Tominaga also came along in the big blind and both active players checked the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. Tominaga led the {7-Clubs} turn for 30,000 and Theologis folded.

Andre Mayer: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Daichi Tominaga: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {5-Spades} river missed both players and the ace-eight high of Tominaga was good enough to collect the €5,000 bounty prize for busting Mayer.

Guerrero Eliminated by Nemeth

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jimmy Guerrero
Jimmy Guerrero

Andras Nemeth raised to 4,500 from under the gun and picked up two callers including Ognyan Dimov on the button. Jimmy Guerrero then three-bet to 23,000 in the big blind and Nemeth was the only caller. On a flop of {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Guerrero continued for 15,000 with some 60,000 behind.

Nemeth then raised to 80,000 and that sent the Frenchman into the tank. Eventually, Guerrero shrugged and called all-in after he had invested two 30-second time bank extensions.

Jimmy Guerrero: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Andras Nemeth: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Guerrero was ahead with his ace-high and even paired up on the {a-Spades} turn. However, he could not fade the {4-Clubs} river which improved Nemeth to a flush.

Three Re-Entries

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The Day 1 field size has surpassed 50 entries and the last three players to join are all on their second and final bullet. Niklas Astedt, Karolis Sereika and Paul Newey all entered once more to give the bounty action another shot.

Stakelis Beats Mulder in Showdown

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 4,500 and was called by Teun Mulder from one seat over in the hijack, Audrius Stakelis also called in the big blind. On the {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, only Stakelis check-called Mulder's bet worth 5,000 and both players then checked the {q-Spades} on the turn.

Stakelis also checked the {k-Diamonds} on the river and Mulder made it 20,000 to go. The call of his opponent followed and Mulder flipped over the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a busted straight and flush draw. Stakelis had that beat with the {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes to pull ahead of Mulder.

Newey Felted by Kulev

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Paul Newey
Paul Newey

The action unfolded in the last hand of the previous level and lasted a few minutes into the first scheduled break.

With some 45,000 in the middle in a hand between Alex Kulev and Paul Newey, the former bet the {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop for 10,000. Newey called within a few seconds and both then checked the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Kulev jammed the {8-Hearts} river for around 95,000, which happened to be the covering stack.

Newey had some 70,000 behind and invested one time bank extension before tossing in a single chip for the call. Kulev revealed the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for eights full of queens and that was good enough to score the bounty prize, as Newey only held {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for an inferior full house.
