Vogelsang Snaps Off Mateos

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tom Vogelsang opened to 5,000 and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 22,000. Vogelsang called.

Mateos check-called 15,000 on the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop and check-called 25,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {k-Spades} and Mateos bet 107,000. Vogelsang snap-called.

Mateos showed {8-Spades}{10-Spades} for a missed straight draw, with Vogelsang showing {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a rivered pair of kings.

Mateos Chips Back Up

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised and then faced a three-bet to 16,000 by Tom Vogelsang on the button. Mateos opted for a four-bet to 44,000 in the hijack and Vogelsang came along. The {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop triggered a bet worth 17,000 by Mateos and he picked up a call by Vogelsang.

Both then checked down the {4-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river for Mateos to reveal the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. "Good flop," Vogelsang said with a smile on the face, seemingly referring to an inferior premium pair.

Kisacikoglu Chips Up With Aggression

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Brewer has finally pulled back after the starting stack when he was paid off by Mike Watson on the river of a {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} board. Watson called for 20,000 and mucked when Brewer revealed the {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the top pair.

Soon after, Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 6,000 and Stephen Chidwick came along to see the {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop. Chidwick check-called once for 6,500 and the {k-Diamonds} turn was checked by both. Chidwick bet the {8-Clubs} river for 18,000 and Kisacikoglu raised to 65,000 in order to force a fold.

Adams Claims Bigger Pot Off Grafton

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a battle cutoff versus button, Sam Grafton three-bet to 15,000 and received a call by the initial raiser Timothy Adams. The flop brought {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Adams opted to check-call a bet of 12,000. After the {a-Diamonds} turn, Adams check-called for another 40,000 and that led them to the {2-Spades} on the river.

Adams checked the third street in a row and Grafton glanced over at the stack of his neighbour before making it 95,000 to go. With some 150,000 at his disposal, Adams eventually called and Grafton briefly flashed his cards. However, they were no good as the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for a flush of Adams raked in the seizable pot.

Watson Pulls Ahead of Kisacikoglu

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Mike Watson raised to 5,000 and Orpen Kisacikoglu then three-bet to 17,500 on the button. This prompted a four-bet to 42,000 by Watson and Kisacikoglu called after brief consideration. The duo headed to the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop on which Watson bet 25,000.

That was enough to claim the pot right there without any further resistance, as Kisacikoglu got out of the way.
