Petrangelo Bests Bujtas

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian Mateos opened and got calls from Nick Petrangelo and Laszlo Bujtas.

Mateos continued for 8,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop and Petrangelo raised to 32,000. Bujtas check-called and Mateos folded.

Bujtas bet 21,000 on the {8-Spades} turn and Petrangelo called. The pair checked the {4-Diamonds} river.

Bujtas showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a missed straight draw, but Petrangelo had turned trip eights with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and won the pot.

Adams Cannot Sell His Story to Wilf

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Saar Wilf
Saar Wilf

With a three-bet to 11,000 and a call already pulled in and no other action leading to the {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} river, Saar Wilf bet 9,500. Timothy Adams then raised to 35,000 and that immediately puzzled his opponent.

"What are you trying to sell?" Wilf asked with a smile on the face behind his shades. He then gave it some thought and eventually called.

Adams rolled over the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Wilf earned the pot with the {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives.

Watson Gets Some Value From Mulder

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Teun Mulder raised it up to 4,000 and then called a three-bet to 18,000 by Mike Watson in the small blind. Following a flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Watson elected to check and subsequently call a bet worth 20,000. Both then checked down the {7-Hearts} turn and the {7-Clubs} river for Watson to reveal the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} as the winning hand.

"Now We're Even" says Petrangelo

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 4,000 and Tom Vogelsang three-bet to 14,000 from the next position.

Petrangelo called and then check-called 11,000 on the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Petrangelo bet 13,000 on the river and Vogelsang folded.

"Now we're even," said Petrangelo, after earlier Vogelsang doubled through him.

Dvoress' Peel Gets Rewarded

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Brewer bet 26,000 into a pot of only just over 20,000 on the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board.

His opponent was Daniel Dvoress who called.

The river was the {k-Hearts} and both players checked. Brewer opened {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a missed straight draw, but rivered pair of kings. Dvoress showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for a better kicker.

Bujtas Wins Small Four-Bet Pot

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After one player opened, Thomas Muehloecker three-bet out of the small blind and Laszlo Bujtas four-bet to 60,000.

Muehloecker was the only caller and the flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Muehloecker checked, but folded when Bujtas continued for 45,000.

Brewer Bounces Back Further

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Just before the blinds had gone up, Mike Watson raised to 3,500 and earned a three-bet to 11,500 by Chris Brewer in the cutoff. Teun Mulder four-bet to 26,500 on the button and Watson folded while Brewer called.

The {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop was initially checked by Brewer and Mulder continued for 15,000. What followed was a check-min-raise to 30,000 by Brewer and Mulder folded after using almost his entire 30-second shot clock.

Timbus Takes From Heath

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ben Heath opened to 3,500 and was called by Cosmin Timbus on the button and Niklas Astedt in the big blind. The trio headed to the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop which brought no betting action. After the {6-Spades} appeared on the turn, the action checked to Heath and his bet worth 4,500 was called only by Timbus.

Fast forward to the {9-Hearts} river, Heath bet 22,500 and Timbus reluctantly called after using one time bank extension. Heath revealed the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces, which Timbus had beat holding the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair.

Muehloecker Bests Vogelsang

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a {8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} board Thomas Muehloecker and Laszlo Bujtas checked, and Tom Vogelsang bet 12,500.

Muehloecker called and Bujtas folded.

The river was the {q-Spades} and Muehloecker checked. Vogelsang bet 30,000 and Muehloecker thought a while before calling.

Vogelsang showed {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights, with Muehloecker showing {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and took down the pot with two pair.
