Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Three ways to the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Adrian Mateos checked and Nick Petrangelo bet 18,000. Tom Vogelsang raised to 45,000 and Mateos folded while Petrangelo called. The remaining two players headed to the {4-Clubs} turn on which Petrangelo check-called for another 31,000.

What followed was the {3-Clubs} on the river and Petrangelo checked once more. Vogelsang mow moved all-in for exactly 150,000 and that sent Petrangelo into the tank. He used two of his three available time bank extensions and eventually sigh-called. Vogelsang revealed the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for tens full of fours and that beat the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Petrangelo.

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Teun Meulder three-bet all in for 9,000 against Sam Grafton and held with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} against the {q-Spades}{6-Spades} of his opponent on {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

On the next hand, he three-bet all in for 20,500 against Juan Pardo.

Teun Mulder: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Juan Pardo: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The pocket pair held this time on the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} runout and Mulder was eliminated.

Sam Grafton raised to 4,000 and Adrian Mateos then three-bet to 22,500, which was cold-called by Teun Mulder while Grafton got out of the way. The {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop brought a bet worth 15,000 by Mateos and Mulder stuck around.

After the {4-Hearts} turn, Mateos bet another 60,000 to earn a call and opted to check the {a-Spades} on the river. Mulder then moved all-in and was snapped off by Mateos with the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for aces full as he had to flip over {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a move gone wrong. Both stacks were counted and Mateos doubled for 146,000 to leave Mulder on fumes.

Four New Entries and a Third Table Opens

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Laszlo Bujtas was the first of a trio to enter the fray and he was soon after followed by Benjamin Chalot, who calls Hungary his home base these days. Niklas Astedt and Thomas Muehloecker then also arrived in the tournament area with a ticket in their hands and that has bumped the field up to 21 entries with 19 players remaining.

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The action kicked off with a raise to 3,500 by Mike Watson, which then triggered a three-bet to 14,000 by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the hijack. Watson came along to the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop that went check, check. On the {a-Spades} turn, Watson checked once more and Kisacikoglu fired a bet worth 16,000 to win the pot right there.

Brewer and Adams Tussle Again

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The board read {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Chris Brewer bet 30,000. Opponent Timothy Adams called.

Tominaga Eliminated by Petrangelo

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Daichi Tominaga
Daichi Tominaga

Daichi Tominaga made it 4,000 to go in the cutoff and he was called by Adrian Mateos on the button. Nick Petrangelo in the big blind then three-bet to 25,000 and Tominaga four-bet to 57,000, forcing a fold from Mateos and earning a reluctant call by Petrangelo.

The duo headed to the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop on which Petrangelo's bet of 30,000 resulted in a call by Tominaga. Both then checked the {k-Spades} on the turn and Petrangelo then moved all-in with the covering stack on the {q-Spades} river.

That sent Tominaga into the tank and he used three time bank extensions before calling it off for the 163,000 he had behind. Petrangelo tabled the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for the top two pair and Tominaga's {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} were briefly exposed as well.

Brewer Wins Pot Against Watson

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Mike Watson raised it up to 3,500 in the hijack and Chris Brewer three-bet to 10,500. "How much do you have?" Watson inquired and eyeballed the stack of his table neighbour before he called. The duo checked the {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop and Watson check-called a bet worth 20,000 on the {q-Clubs} turn.

After the {j-Clubs} river, Watson checked once more and Brewer then bet 64,500 with one yellow T-1,000 chip behind to claim the pot without resistance.
