Welcome to Day 1 of the €2,200 Eureka High Roller which gets underway at 1 p.m. CET in King's Casino in Prague; for yet another event in what has been an exciting and successful PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague.
The €1,100 Eureka Main Event has been a record-breaker, attracting 3,155 entries from a wide variety of countries throughout Europe and another bumper field is expected to be in-store today.
The €2,200 buy-in gives each entry a 30,000 starting stack, with a maximum of two entries allowed. Levels increase every 40-minutes and registration will close after the 60-minute dinner break following Level 10.
Day 1 schedule is to play 16 levels, with the surviving players advancing to Thursday's, March 9 Day 2. The second day of action is to begin at 12:30 p.m.
Alexandre Reard won the last instalment of this event in 2019 for a cool €342,810. However, it is unlikely that he'll be able to defend his title. The WSOP bracelet winner has made a deep run in the €1,100 Eureka Main Event, making Day 3 which is just about to start.
