Aleksandras Rusinovas raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and Nicolas Vayssieres moved all-in from the button for almost 2,000,000. Gilles Gauyacq tanked in the small blind and had the clock called on him before folding, then Rusinovas made the call to put his tournament life on the line.

Gonzalez Doubles Twice After Redraw

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Manuel Gonzalez
Manuel Gonzalez

Manuel Gonzalez got his entire stack in twice preflop at his new table and has spun his short stack instantly into a contender.

First, he shoved {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} in middle position and ran into the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} of Jakub Oliva.

However, Gonzalez managed to drill a nine on the turn on the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} runout to give him his first double up.

A couple of hands later, he got his money in far better against Diego Montone who jammed his {a-Hearts}{4-Spades} in from the small blind and smashed into Gonzalez's {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} in the big blind for 1,500,000.

The {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} wasn't enough for Montone, and Gonzalez now has one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Romain Lewis

Manuel Gonzalez limped from the small blind, Romain Lewis ripped all in and Gonzalez snap-called.

Romain Lewis: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Manuel Gonzalez: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Lewis was up against the limped rockets but had the type of hand desired to potentially crack aces. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} to open a straight draw. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} to connect with the straight and the river came the {7-Diamonds} to confirm the winner for Lewis and give him the critical double up.

Doubles for Rubin and Mooney

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Rubin moved all-in from middle position and was called by Jakub Oliva in the big blind.

David Rubin: {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Jakub Oliva: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Rubin's king-high would remain in front after the {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Spades} runout.

John Mooney was the next player to find themselves all-in and at risk. This time against Pedro Marques was the caller.

John Mooney: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Pedro Marques: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

Again, the player at risk would survive and Mooney raked in a much needed double after the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} completed board.
