Oliva Gets Double Elimination

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nikola Gunchev
Nikola Gunchev

Jakub Oliva moved all-in for 680,000 from early position. Jan Wieckenberg called off his 450,000 stack from middle position. Nikola Gunchev went deep into the tank and the clock was eventually called.

At the last possible moment, he put in his 325,000 chip stack.

Nikola Gunchev: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Jan Wieckenberg: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Jakub Oliva: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop gave some hope for the short stacks, but the board paired on the {6-Clubs} turn.
A spade hit the river, but it was the {k-Spades} to give Oliva a full house as well as a duo of bust outs.

Therme Cranks Up the Pressure

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river of a relatively small pot between Jonathan Therme and Ermanno Di Nicola. Business picked up on the river though.

With the board reading {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Di Nicola led from the small blind for 130,0000 into the roughly 250,000 chip pot.

Therme raised in middle position to 455,000 to put the pressure back onto Di Nicola. The raise represented over half of Di Nicola's total stack, and after a couple of minutes, Di Nicola folded.

With the win, Therme approaches 1.5 million in chips.

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ferit Gabriellson raised to 100,000 in middle position and was met with a three-bet from Nicolas Vayssieres to 600,000, who was essentially committing his stack by leaving just over 200,000 behind.

Gabriellson went deep into the tank before deciding to fold as payjumps continue to grow.

Maue Sent Away

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Leonard Maue was all in preflop holding the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and was up against the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} of Ermanno Di Nicola.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The turn was the {9-Spades} and the river came down the {q-Spades} to keep Di Nicola ahead throughout and eliminate Maue.

On the opposite table, Peter Jaksland also made his way to the payout desk, just a slight second before Maue.

Montoya Doubles Through Bozso

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jacobo Montoya open-shoved from the cutoff for his final 550,000 and was called on the button by Achilles Bozso.

Achilles Bozso: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Jacobo Montoya: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} saw Montoya's pair of sixes hold until the turn, where the {a-Clubs} put him in dire straits.

A miracle {6-Diamonds} on the river however bailed him out and gave him the key double up.

Hussein Flops Bijaoui Dead

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

There was a classic all in flip in progress as Wajdi Hussein had the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and was looking to take out Theo Bijaoui who held the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop was a knife to the heart of Bijaoui as it came {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to flop him practically dead barring miracle runner-runner quads.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and the river the {4-Clubs} as Bijaoui exited to the payout table.
