Heinz Schluter raised to 825,000 from the button and Alejandro Lococo three-bet to 1,805,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Schluter went deep into the tank.

After several minutes, Lococo called the clock and the tournament director came over, but within a few seconds Schluter called for around 7,000,000.

Alexandre Reard raised to 330,000 from under the gun, Dan Borlan called from the button and Jakub Koleckar came along in the big blind.

The flop came and after two checks, Borlan fired 350,000, only getting a call from Reard. The players checked the turn, and then on the river as well.

Reard showed for the winner to boost his stack over 15 million.

The river brought a check from Lococo and Borlan moved in for his last 2,510,000. Lococo went deep into the tank for several minutes.

After a great deal of thought, Lococo called and turned over for a pair of threes. Borlan tabled and was eliminated from the tournament in 13th place for €20,780.

With approximately two million chips already in the pot on the river with the board reading , Tjenno Eskes gave several minutes of thought to a roughly 1.5 million chip all-in bet from Mathias Siljander.

Ultimately, Eskes made a hero call from the button with for ace-high. Unfortunately for him, Siljander held in the big blind for three eights to win the pot.

Reard and Kyte Exchange Raises

Despite the slowing pace of play, the potential for big pots is still certainly there.

In a recent pot, Jon Kyte opened to 400,000 in the hijack and was called by Jakub Koleckar on the button. Alexandre Reard then three-bet to 1.9 million from the small blind. Kyte came back with a four-bet to 3.45 million. Koleckar folded and after giving it some thought, Reard folded as well to give Kyte a healthy pot without seeing a flop.
