Vouris Shows His Kings

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Benjamin Lebor was heads up with Konstantinos Vouris to the {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, and fired a continuation bet of 800 on the button. Vouris made the call from the small blind, and check-called a bet of 1,600 after the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Vouris then led out for 10,000 on the {a-Hearts} river, and Lebor took some time with his decision before making the fold. Vouris revealed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, to which Lebor claimed he made a "good fold".

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
James Rann
James Rann

Terry Jordon raised to 1,000 from early position and called a three-bet of 3,600 from James Rann.

Jordon check-called Rann's continuation bet of 2,200 after the {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, and faced another decision after checking the {2-Hearts} turn. Rann fired 4,000, and quickly called after Jordon raised enough to put him at risk.

James Rann: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Terry Jordon: {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Rann's top pair was in the lead, and his hand held following the {j-Spades} river for the double up. Jordon lost his remaining chips shortly after, only to reenter for a fresh stack.

Samson's "Proper Bet" Gets Called

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Dan Samson defended his big blind to a raise from Giorgio Crisostomo, and the two players were heads up to the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop.

Samson check-called a bet of 500, telling Crisostomo that it "wasn't enough" to make him fold. The action repeated on the {3-Clubs} turn, this time with Crisostomo firing 1,000 and Samson claiming that he thinks he "is probably ahead at this point".

Crisostomo followed with a bet of 3,100 on the {k-Hearts} river, and Samson check-raised to 15,000. "That's a proper bet", he told Crisostomo who eventually found the call. Samson turned over {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} to take down the pot and leave Crisostomo short.
