Greenwood Leaves Heath on Crumbs

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ben Heath raised to 5,000 on the button and was called by Sam Greenwood and Byron Kaverman in the blinds. The flop came {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the action checked around to the {8-Diamonds} on the turn.

Greenwood led out with a bet of 5,500 and Kaverman raised to 21,000. Heath flat-called and Greenwood used two of his time banks before calling as well.

The {2-Diamonds} landed on the river and the action checked to Heath who slid out a bet of 83,000, leaving himself with just 1,500 behind. Greenwood used up some more time banks before flicking in a call while Kaverman quickly folded.

Heath flipped over {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for a missed flush draw and Greenwood tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a made flush draw to claim the pot.

Mateos Eliminates Vieira

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos opened to 3,500 in the hijack and Joao Vieira flatted the cutoff.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Mateos continued for 3,0000. Vieira called.

The {a-Spades} landed on the turn and Mateos bet 10,000. Vieira again called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and Mateos moved in enough chips to cover Vieira's remaining stack of approximately 30,000. Vieira called.

Mateos flipped over {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a flopped set, and Vieira appeared to flash {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} as he made his exit.

O'Dwyer Finds Call; Vogelsang Busts

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 3,500 in the hijack and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 10,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to O'Dwyer who called.

The dealer spread the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and O'Dwyer check-called for 5,000, while both players checked the {5-Hearts} turn.

The {9-Hearts} river put a fourth heart on the board and Vogelsang moved in all of his chips except for a single pink T-500 chip, for a bet of 53,000. O'Dwyer used a time extension as he deliberated and shuffled chips, while Vogelsang stared straight ahead in his hoodie.

Eventually, O'Dwyer called. Vogelsang mucked his cards face down in defeat, allowing O'Dwyer to do the same, and their holdings remained a mystery as the dealer slid the sizable pot over to O'Dwyer. Vogelsang was eliminated shortly after.

Heath Takes From Schemion

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ole Schemion raised the small blind to 4,000 and Ben Heath defended the big blind.

The flop landed {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Schemion continued for 3,000, and Heath called.

On the {5-Clubs} turn, Schemion check-called for 12,500, and both players checked the {a-Spades} river.

Heath tabled {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for pair of kings to take the pot over Schemion's {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} pair of tens.

Kulev and Dvoress Chop Anticlimactic Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Alex Kulev opened the cutoff to 3,500 and Daniel Dvoress three-bet to 13,000 on the button. Action folded back to Kulev who called.

The flop landed {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Kulev led for 7,500. Dvoress called. The {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Kulev led for 11,500. Dvoress again called.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board to put a nine-high straight on board and Kulev moved all in. Dvoress snap-called.

Kulev showed {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} against Dvoress' {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and the two players took their bets back and chopped the pot with a ten-high straight.
