Hrabec Bluffs Into Set of Vayssieres

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Roman Hrabec
Roman Hrabec

In a heads-up pot on a flop of {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Roman Hrabec checked in the big blind and Nicolas Vayssieres bet 35,000 from under the gun. Hrabec check-raised to 90,000 and Vayssieres used through a time extension before calling.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Hrabec bet 80,000. Vayssieres again called. The {8-Spades} river completed the board and Hrabec used one of his time extensions before placing out a stack of green chips 25,000-denomination for a bet of around 505,000. Vayssieres flicked in a chip for a call.

Hrabec tabled {k-Spades}{10-} for a king-high bluff, while Vayssieres turned over {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a flopped set, more than good to win the pot to put a big dent in the Day 3 chip leader's stack.

Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel raised to 35,000 from the cutoff. It folded to Jordi Romero in the big blind who shoved. Seidel snap-called for his last 455,000.

Erik Seidel: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Jordi Romero: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Seidel had picked up the rockets and held on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} runout to secure a double up.

Hamilton Holds to Double

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ian Hamilton
Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton opened to 35,000 on the button, Roman Hrabec flatted the small blind, and Nicolas Vayssieres three-bet to 195,000 in the big blind. Hamilton moved all in for 610,000, Hrabec folded, and Vayssieres thought about it and called.

Ian Hamilton: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Nicolas Vayssieres: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop provided a big sweat with Vayssieres picking up a flush draw. The {4-Diamonds} turn brought a red card but it was a safe one for Hamilton.

Hamilton just needed to fade a heart to survive, and the {2-Diamonds} river brought another red scare, but it was a harmless diamond to secure the double for Hamilton's aces as he breathed a sigh of relief and stacked up his chips.

Jamil Wakil Eliminated in 21st Place (£22,500)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

In the biggest hand of the tournament so far that extended five minutes into the break, Jamil Wakil opened to 35,000 in middle position and David Docherty three-bet to 110,000 from the cutoff. Wakil four-bet to 315,000 and the chip leader called after using a single time extension.

The flop landed {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Wakil continued for 175,000. Docherty called. Wakil sized up to 350,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn and Docherty again called.

The {6-Hearts} on the river completed the board and Wakil bet around 600,000 with just a single 5,000-denomination chip behind. Docherty raised all in and Wakil called with a groan as he asked "you have aces?"

Docherty did indeed have aces as he showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}, while Wakil held {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for a worse overpair, marking the second time in just the first level of play today that Docherty has picked up aces to be against an opponent with kings.

"So f***ing sick," Wakil said quietly as he stood from his seat.

"I'm running so good that I feel guilty about it," Docherty told the dealer before heading to break. "This is a simulation."

Jack Sinclair {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} raised on the button to 40,000 and Ambrose Ng defended his big blind with {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Ng check-raised a continuation bet of 30,000 from Sinclair to 80,000. Sinclair called.

The turn was the {6-Spades}. Both players checked.

Ng used a time bank before checking the {q-Clubs} river and Sinclair won the pot with a pair of tens.

Hamilton Check-Shoves with Straight Flush

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ian Hamilton
Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton opened to 45,000 from under the gun, Alexandre Vuilleumier flatted the button, and Jamie Flynn defended the big blind.

The dealer spread the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop and action checked to Hamilton who continued for 45,000. Only Vuilleumier called.

The {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Hamilton bet out 115,000. Vuilleumier again called.

The {10-Spades} fell on the river and Hamilton checked. Vuilleumier announced a bet of 485,000. Hamilton responded by check-jamming all in for roughly 950,000, and Vuilleumier sent his cards into the muck.

Hamilton tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a rivered straight flush as he collected the pot.
