Hamilton Holds to Double

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ian Hamilton
Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton opened to 35,000 on the button, Roman Hrabec flatted the small blind, and Nicolas Vayssieres three-bet to 195,000 in the big blind. Hamilton moved all in for 610,000, Hrabec folded, and Vayssieres thought about it and called.

Ian Hamilton: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Nicolas Vayssieres: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop provided a big sweat with Vayssieres picking up a flush draw. The {4-Diamonds} turn brought a red card but it was a safe one for Hamilton.

Hamilton just needed to fade a heart to survive, and the {2-Diamonds} river brought another red scare, but it was a harmless diamond to secure the double for Hamilton's aces as he breathed a sigh of relief and stacked up his chips.

Erik Seidel: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Hrabec Bluffs Into Set of Vayssieres

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Roman Hrabec
Roman Hrabec

In a heads-up pot on a flop of {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Roman Hrabec checked in the big blind and Nicolas Vayssieres bet 35,000 from under the gun. Hrabec check-raised to 90,000 and Vayssieres used through a time extension before calling.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Hrabec bet 80,000. Vayssieres again called. The {8-Spades} river completed the board and Hrabec used one of his time extensions before placing out a stack of green chips 25,000-denomination for a bet of around 505,000. Vayssieres flicked in a chip for a call.

Hrabec tabled {k-Spades}{10-} for a king-high bluff, while Vayssieres turned over {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a flopped set, more than good to win the pot to put a big dent in the Day 3 chip leader's stack.

Hrabec Shoves on Hamilton

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

In a bloated pot with roughly 650,000 in the middle on a {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} completed board, Ian Hamilton checked in the cutoff, and Roman Hrabec moved all in on the button, covering Hamilton's remaining stack of approximately 650,000.

Hamilton used several time banks to deliberate. Simultaneously, Jessica Pilkington was all-in and eliminated at the other outer table and that hand played out entirely while Hamilton was still deciding. Ultimately after a couple of minutes, Hamilton sent his cards into the muck to concede the pot.

On a {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, Jessica Pilkington was in the big blind and had gotten the rest of her short stack in against Danut Chisu on the button.

Jessica Pilkington: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Danut Chisu: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {j-Diamonds} turn gave Pilkington some more outs with a straight draw, but the {6-Spades} river bricked out to eliminate her in 22nd place for £22,500.

Thomas Hueber

Thomas Hueber raised to 90,000 from the hijack leaving himself with 10,000 behind and Aleem Kanji three-bet all from the big blind. Hueber called and was all in.

Thomas Hueber: {k-Spades}{8-Spades}
Aleem Kanji: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Hueber had already managed several ladders so far today, and a king in the window of a {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} board meant he doubled up
