Seo Turns a Set

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was caught on the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs} completed board, with around 30,000 in the pot.

Moonho Seo jammed for 15,300 from under the gun and his opponent, Steve Warburton, went into the tank on the button. Warburton went through the hand out load and ended up putting in calling chips while saying "one time."

Seo turned over {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a turned set, which bested Warburton's {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

Mustapha Kanit and Michael Bernstein were heads-up in a pot with the board reading {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Bernstein was all in for 15,500 on the turn and Kanit quickly called to put him at risk.

Bernstein turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} for top pair but was drawing dead to the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} of Kanit who flopped a set. The insignificant {2-Spades} hit the river and Kanit dragged in another pot, sending him into the chip lead.

Lynskey Wins at Showdown Without Showing

Level 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Alek Lynskey was forced to the registration desk to re-enter last level, but he's made quick work of his new starting stack of 30,000 chips. Yaman Nakdali opened to 1,800 in early position and Lynskey called on the button along with the big blind.

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Nakdali continued with a bet of 3,700. Lynskey called and the big blind got out of the way. The turn was the {6-Spades} and Nakdali fired out another bet of 7,500 which Lynskey still called.

The {4-Diamonds} peeled off on the river and Nakdali reached back for a bet of 22,000 this time. Lynskey thought for a moment before dropping in a call. Nakdali just mucked his hand and Lynskey was awarded the pot without having to show his cards.

Kitai Shows One

Level 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Davidi Kitai led out with a bet of 8,000 from the big blind into a pot of around 14,000. Andras Nemeth called on the button and the {10-Diamonds} completed the board.

Kitai splashed in a bet of 20,000 on the river and Nemeth went into the tank. After a couple of minutes, the clock was called and Nemeth eventually decided to fold. Kitai collected the pot and opted to show the {j-Clubs}.

"Just to keep you thinking," he said to Nemeth.
