Kostagiolas Gets Tricky on the Button

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

[Removed:510] raised to 1,800 from the cutoff before Leonidas Kostagiolas three-bet to 5,400 from the button. Trofimov made the call.

Trofimov check-called for 5,000 on the {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. The {8-Hearts} turn and the {4-Clubs} river then checked through to showdown.

Trofimov had {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a pair of deuces and it almost seemed like the winner. Eventually Kostagiolas showed he had rivered a better pair and his {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} was the winner.

Miller Takes Out Two

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Gary Miller
Gary Miller

There was a three-way all in on Table 4 with the board reading {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and it was Alex Lynskey who was at risk with the short stack of around 20,000. Nikolaos Lampropoulos was at risk for around 20,000 more and Gary Miller had both players covered.

Alex Lynskey: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Gary Miller: {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

All three players held a flush draw but it was Miller who was out front with the only pair. The {q-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Miller held on to eliminate both of his opponents.

Khalili Gets Thin Value

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was caught on the turn, with the board reading {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Raphael Khalili checked from under the gun before Tamer Kamel fired for 4,500. Khalili called.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Khalili led for 8,500. Kamel made the quick call.

Khalili was reluctant to turn over over his hand but eventually showed he had a pair of fives with his {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Kamel mucked his cards and the pot was awarded to Khalili.

"Ace-king, right?" asked Khalili but Tamer didn't give a response.

Leonard Looks Up Navas

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Patrick Leonard raised to 1,600 in middle position and was called by both of the blinds. The flop fell {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Rafael Navas led out with a bet of 1,800 in the small blind. The big blind folded but Leonard stuck around to see the {9-Diamonds} on the turn.

Navas checked this time and Leonard checked it back as the {10-Hearts} completed the board. Navas tossed in a bet of 2,200 this time and Leonard matched him. Navas showed {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for complete air while Leonard held {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for two pair to claim the pot.

Rezaei Can't Hit a Flush

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Daniel Rezaei limped in from the small blind and Rehman Kassam checked his option in the big blind. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Rezaei checked to Kassam who bet 800. Rezaei check-raised to 3,600 and Kassam responded with a three-bet to 12,000. Rezaei four-bet all in for 34,700 and Kassam quickly called.

Daniel Rezaei: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Rehman Kassam: {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Kassam flopped the nut straight but Rezaei had outs with a flush draw. The {3-Spades} and {a-Hearts} runout were bricks for Rezaei who was forced to head to the registration desk again.

Filippos Stavrakis: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Georgi Sandev: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
