Watson Finishes Off Ju

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Watson just used his single re-entry to get into the tournament moments before late registration closed. Upon taking his seat, Watson raised it up in early position and Samuel Ju shoved all in for 56,000 in the big blind. Watson asked for a count and then made the call.

Samuel Ju: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Mike Watson: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} and Watson took a commanding lead with a set of eights. The {6-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal and Ju was eliminated before the {5-Spades} completed the board.

Late registration is now officially closed with a total of 68 entries recorded. The tournament and bounty prize pools will now be calculated and updated shortly.

Game Over for Calderone

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Eros Calderone
Eros Calderone

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 9,000 in the last hand of the previous level while in the cutoff. Eros Calderone three-bet to 25,000 on the button and O'Dwyer then pushed all-in with Calderone snap-calling.

Eros Calderone: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop instantly improved O'Dwyer and left Calderone with a single out, which triggered a brief curse. Nothing changed on the {4-Hearts} turn and {8-Spades} river as Calderone left the tournament area with a gasped "nice hand".

Last Minute Entries

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Only a few minutes of late registration remain and four players showed up with an entry ticket in their hand within a few seconds apart from each other. This included Alex Kulev, Ognyan Dimov, Dimitar Danchev, and Mike Watson. Adrian Mateos had also jumped back in but lost his stack within minutes to become the next certain casualty.

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Eros Calderone: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Stoyan Obreshkov: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Thorel Calls with Ace-High

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised it up to 8,000 in the cutoff and was called by Samuel Ju in the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Ju check-called a bet of 8,500 from Thorel.

The {10-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the river. Ju led out with a bet of 11,000 and Thorel sighed before throwing in a call. Ju knuckled the table as he turned over {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for air and Thorel tabled {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Bise Knocks Out Kisacikoglu

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

It remains unclear when the chips went in as there had been chips in the middle. Orpen Kisacikoglu was the player at risk with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and he flipped against Emil Bise with the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Bise came out on top with the superior pair. Both stacks were counted and the 130,000 of Bise covered the 119,500 of Kisacikoglu.

Seiji Stacks More Chips

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A completed board of {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} was spread across the table with around 100,000 chips in the pot already. The action was on Rodrigo Seiji who slid out a bet of 67,000 on the button.

Namhyung Kim was his opponent on his right and threw out his time bank cards as he dipped into the tank. After using four of his time banks, Kim finally dropped in the chips to call. Seiji turned over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight while Kim could only muster a pair of jacks with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Newey Eliminated by Marques

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Paul Newey
Paul Newey

Pedro Marques raised on the button and then looked up the three-bet shove by Paul Newey in the small blind for 45,000.

Paul Newey: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Pedro Marques: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop vaulted Marques into the lead, which he retained throughout the {6-Hearts} turn and {k-Hearts} river. It was the second elimination for Newey and he won't be allowed to re-enter anymore.

In the meanwhile, Eros Calderone has re-entered for his second bullet.
