Heath Eliminated by Sternheimer

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Philip Sternheimer opened to 3,500 from the cutoff and Ben Heath three-bet to 15,000 from the small blind. Sternheimer called.

The flop landed {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Heath continued for a small 3,500. Sternheimer raised to 19,000 and Heath called. Heath then checked on the {k-Diamonds} turn and Sternheimer checked back.

THe {j-Clubs} on the river completed the board and Heath checked again. Sternheimer bet 75,000 to put Heath all in for less and Heath snap-called. Sternheimer showed {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for nines full of kings and Heath tossed his {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to the dealer before leaving the tournament area.

Heath took down the two earlier €25,000 events this series but it won't be a three-peat unless he buys back in on a second bullet.

Kulev Sends Dvoress and Pardo Packing

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Daniel Dvoress shoved all in for his short stack of 13,500 and was called by Juan Pardo in the small blind. Alex Kulev re-raised the minimum to 25,500 in the big blind and Pardo called.

The flop came {j-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Pardo checked to Kulev who ripped all in. Pardo had a decision for his remaining 74,000 and burned through four of his time banks before making the call.

Daniel Dvoress: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Juan Pardo: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Alex Kulev: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Pardo was in the lead with his pocket nines and the {10-Clubs} on the turn took Dvoress out of the equation. The river was the {k-Hearts} and Kulev spiked a pair of kings to eliminate both players.

Mateos Flop a Full House to Eliminate Oosterbaan

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Arnold Oosterbaan
Arnold Oosterbaan

A completed board of {6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} was spread across the felt and Arnold Oosterbaan was getting up from his seat. Adrian Mateos had tabled {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a flopped full house and the stack sizes were just being confirmed.

Mateos just had enough to cover Oosterbaan, bringing the field down to four players.

According to the tournament director, if the field gets down to three players, late registration will be closed and the players will have the option of playing it out tonight or returning tomorrow.
