Proudfoot Calls River Bet

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Jonathan Proudfoot raised from under the gun to 1,400 and Tibor Nagygyorgy three-bet to 4,200 from late position. The rest of the table got out of the way and Proudfoot called.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Proudfoot check-called a 3,200 bet from Nagygyorgy. The turn was {7-Spades}.

Proudfoot checked the turn once again and called a 11,500 bet to see {2-Spades} on the river.

Proudfoot checked once more and called when Nagygyorgy fired 23,500. Nagygyorgy turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Proudfoot showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to take the pot with a flopped pair of kings.

Elsewhere at the same table, Rodrigo Seiji has taken his seat in search of his third title of the 2022 EPT Prague series.
