Jorgne Eliminates Kolonias

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Peter Jorgne raised from under the gun to 1,800 and was called by Alexandros Kolonias in middle position and [Removed:428] in the cutoff.

Action folded to Jonathan Proudfoot in the big blind who three-bet to 8,900. Jorgne called before Kolonias moved all in for 36,600. Maloku quickly folded and Proudfoot asked for a count before deciding to fold. Action was on Jorgne who thought for a while before calling covering Kolonias.

Alexandros Kolonias: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Peter Jorgne: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Kolonais had slow played ace king but was still flipping. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} which gave Jorgne a set of eights but Kolonias had a straight draw. However the {q-Spades} paired the board giving Jorgne a full house and left Kolonias drawing dead. The river was irrelevant when it came the {7-Spades} which ensured Kolonias's elimination.

Kulev Leaves Bendinelli With Crumbs, Mulder Finishes the Job

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kulev opened from the cut-off for 1,700 and was called by Bendinelli in the big blind.

After the flop fell {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Bendinelli checked and Kulev checked too. The turn brought the {10-Hearts}. Bendinelli led for 4,000 and Kulev called. The river fell {q-Hearts}.

Bendinelli bet again on the river for 3,600 and Kulev moved all in for 38,000. Bendinelli went into the tank, throwing in a time bank card before finally making the call.

Giuliano Bendinelli turned over {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the straight and Alex Kulev showed {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the flush and a huge double up, leaving Bendinelli with just 7,000 in chips.

The very next hand, Bendinelli pushed the rest of his chips into the middle from the small blind and was called by Teun Mulder in the big blind. Mulder held up and Bendinelli was eliminated from the tournament.
