Bigot Chips Up; Glowny Gets a Shove Through

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Three ways to a {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} turn, Fabrice Bigot checked in the small blind and so did Anton Wigg in the big blind. Ranno Sootla bet 2,000 only for Bigot to make it 7,000 to go. Wigg called and Sootla folded.

On the {7-Spades} river, Bigot and Wigg blankly stared at the board for nearly two minutes without any words or emotions. Bigot then bet 10,500 and Wigg snap-folded.

In the next hand, Grzegorz Glowny raised to 1,100 and Wigg called. Nazar Buhaiov three-bet to 6,000 out of the big blind for Glowny to shove, forcing two folds.

Sitbon Goes for Value

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Allem Kanji opened for 1,100 from under the gun and picked up two callers, Julien Sitbon in middle position and Antoine Labat in the big blind.

All three players checked on the {5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Spades} flop.

The turn brought the {8-Spades}. Labat and Kanji both checked again, this time Sitbon bet 2,500. Kanji decided to call.

The river brought the {8-Hearts} and Kanji checked once more. Sitbon bet only slightly more than the previous street, going for 3,000. That was a price Kanji was willing to call, and he did.

Sitbon showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair, good enough for the winner.

"Bad timing, huh?" asked Gilles.

Simon Gilles: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Felix Grossmann: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Sabatini Doubles Through Staahle

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

One hand later, Mattia Sabatini was all-in for the last 13,600 and Kent Staahle made the call.

Mattia Sabatini: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Kent Staahle: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The first card that appeared was the {9-Clubs} but it was followed by the {k-Spades}{2-Hearts} as both players hit their kicker. Nothing changed on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river as Sabatini held onto the double.

Szymanski Finds a Double

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Evgeniy Golenko opened from under the gun and found a caller in Toni Kaukua in the hijack. In the cutoff, Mateusz Szymanski three-bet to 4,500. Golenko called, but Kaukua folded.

The flop came monotone in the {j-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}. Golenko checked, and Szymanski followed up with a bet of 2,000. Golenko check-raised to 8,000. After some thought, Szymanski three-bet the flop by moving all in for 25,000. Golenko didn't like it, but decided to call it off with a slightly bigger stack.

Mateusz Szymanski: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Yevgeneiy Golenko: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Szymanski was in great shape with the set, and saw the {7-Diamonds} and {2-Clubs} finish the board to give him the double.
