All Is Bueno for Bueno

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Manuel Bueno
Manuel Bueno

Alexandru Papazian had kept his shorter stack afloat with some jams and surpassed more than half of the average. Some of those chips then vanished when he raised and Manuel Bueno defended the big blind.

Bueno check-called two bets worth two-thirds of the pot on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop and {a-Spades} turn. The {4-Clubs} river was checked by both and Bueno tabled the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} as the winning hand.

"You are running too good, I am just happy to still be in," Papazian said with a smile on the face.

Hulme Gives Svoboda a Conundrum

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Hulme
Andrew Hulme

Andrew Hulme opened the action to 2,500 and was reraised by the button, Petr Svoboda, to a total of 7,000. The blinds got out of the way, Hulme four-bet to 15,500 and Svoboda called.

Hulme bet 9,800 on the flop of {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Svoboda called.

The turn came 6s and Hulme carried on his aggression betting his final 27,500 chips and putting his tournament at risk.

Svoboda thought hard for a few minutes, checking and rechecking his cards before folding and relinquishing the pot to Hulme.

Krebes Hits Runner Runner to Stay Alive

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Lukasz Szymon Grossmann
Lukasz Szymon Grossmann

Action folded to Lukasz Szymon Grossmann who raised 3,000 from the button, the small blind folded and Tomas Krebes reraised to 10,000. With the action back on Grossmann, he slid a stack of blue chips totalling 115,000 putting Krebes all in.

Krebes made the call for his remaining 75,200 and the hands were shown.

Tomas Krebes: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Lukasz Szymon Grossmann: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Krebes was behind and in need of help.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} putting Grossmann further in the lead. Krebes needed running cards to stay in the tournament.

The dealer peeled the {2-Spades} on the turn, giving Krebes more outs but he needed a spade on the river.

Grossmann sighed as the {5-Spades} fell on the river as Krebes raked in the chips thanks to running spades.

Sorbo Flipped Out by Stumpf

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Giorgio Sorbo raised to 3,600 and was called one way before Frank Stumpf opted to simply move all-in out of the blinds. Sorbo committed his last 26,500 as well and the cold-caller folded.

Giorgio Sorbo: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Frank Stumpf: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop vaulted Stumpf into the lead and he retained it thanks to the [7c[ turn and {5-Clubs} river. Since neither player had a club in the hand, Sorbo was bounced from the tournament.

Nils Pudel raised to 2,500 from middle position before Landron Alexandre three-bet to 6,500 from the next seat over. Action folded around and Pudel called to see a flop.

The flop was {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Pudel check-called a 9,000 bet from Alexandre. The turn was {q-Clubs}.

Pudel checked again on the turn and Alexandre shoved his last 21,200. It was ultimately too much for Pudel and he got away from it to give Alexandre the pot.

Simple Three-Bet Pot to Messeri

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Frank Stumpf opened to 2,500 and then called a larger three-bet by Niccolo Messeri to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. The action was checked by Stumpf and Messeri made it 12,500 to go and that ended the hand right there after a fold from Stumpf.
