Watson and Dvoress Eliminated

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Damian Salas raised to 3,200 in middle position and Mike Watson three-bet jammed a short stack as the player next to act. Salas called when the action folded back around.

Mike Watson: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Damian Salas: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The flop landed {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for Watson to pick up a club draw with his live cards, but the board bricked out {4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} to mark his elimination.

At the same time at the next table over, Daniel Dvoress open-jammed a stack of around 27,000 in late position and Michael Addamo made a reluctant call from the big blind.

Daniel Dvoress: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Michael Addamo: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop of {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs} was not what Dvoress wanted to see as Addamo had flopped two pair, but the {8-Clubs} turn gave him life with a club draw.

"Really?" Dvoress said in disbelief.

"Spicy!" someone commented.

Alas, the {2-Spades} on the river was a brick for Dvoress and he was eliminated. Addamo is making the most of his third and final bullet and currently sits among the chip leaders.
